    SUBHANALLAH... crazy story
    Im a music teacher, and i have a masters in classical violin. i recently began taking my dean seriously, and so ive been exploring different halal paths i can do - may allah guide me.
    Funny enough, this morning i thought "i love photography, maybe i can make this a career", and as soon as i thought that, you talked about photography in your video. It's a sign.
    May allah see it in my heart that i wish to leave music. considering training to become a psychotherapist. i hope to surround my self by better muslims inshaalah

    I was depressed and spent all my time scrolling social media but when I started consuming helpful content and self improvement books . I deleted all my social media accounts and started focusing on my Deen . I also started doing something meaningful with my life and I can confidently say I have never been happier in my Life . May Allah bless your efforts ✌🏽

    about the depression question, i think moaaz mentioned amazing points and they all contribute to someone's happiness / depression. But sometimes people are in a point of their lives where all of these solutions don't work. So I just wanna say that u have to go to a medical professional!! If it's pretty serious that u don't feel like doing anything, going to a therapist is definitely gonna help you inshallah ♡

    I really loved his answer about depression. He said the actual truth without filter in such a nice way.. Most people fail to recognize the importance of those things and get offended easily when someone tries to give them solutions. May Allah bless you ❤

    • @Marinameyers05
      @Marinameyers05 ปีที่แล้ว

      His explanation was not good at all. When you’re depressed: your brain is not working the way it’s supposed to be, you feel fatigued. Walking for some is so hard they fall within a couple of steps. It’s not completely within their hands. Treatments for this physical illness are available. Such as: antidepressants that will help your brain start functioning normally again. He’s extremely ignorant and so are you.

    • @nayyarasiddiqua1809
      @nayyarasiddiqua1809 7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      You realise people such as myself were diagnosed with depression despite being on deen, being hard working in career, and not having socials right? His answer is for 'victim mentality', not for depression which is an actual disorder. The Prrophet Muhammad (SAW) defined arrogance as someone who refuses to see the truth, perhaps educate yourself on this matter instead of preaching. I mean this from a genuine and respectful place.

    Jazakallahu khayran Moaaz! every question is explained perfectly.What hits me is that; “life is a test and it’s hard,life is not meant to be painfree,we’re going to experience both pain and pleasure in this dunya coz this dunya is temporary and the pleasure place is Jannah ,the hereafter ever lasting “.Once again thank youuuu Moaaz!❤

      habibti having women as your profile picture is not permissible, and remember whoever leaves something for the sake of Allah, Allah will replace them with something better
      Also, don’t comment hearts or flowers and don’t speak unnecessarily to (or in front of) non-mehrams, that too is not allowed in Islam
      may Allah guide us all

    btw just remember that depression can be a serious illness, which you should not be feeling guilty about. if we're talking just about a state of mind for a short period of time where you feel a little lazier than usual then what you're saying is correct. But you cannot apply those pieces of advice when we're talking about the serious illness of depression or anxiety, which can only be cured with professional doctors of mental health just like a physical illness, and no it's not something you decide, when we're talking about the serious illness it is not a decision you make to be depressed, so there is no decision you can make to cure it, only going to therapy can. Btw great videos and great pieces of advice

    • @nayyarasiddiqua1809
      @nayyarasiddiqua1809 7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Thanks for that. While I see a lot of Muslim outubers tackle mental health from a place of ignorance rather than actually coming from a bad place this sort of superficial advice is extremely harmful for genuinely depressed individuals looking for answers. I truly wish he would put in a otice saying he is not a professional and not in a place to advice on this topic as he did for marriage.

I really loved my circle. But I did it. And I have no doubt. Allah, most certainly will give me better than what he has taken away from me. Jizakallah Khairan Katheera

    It’s really confusing when i heard prople saying you need to find your passion, i don’t have any passion for any kind of career but i need to study and work.

    Love the positive content and while I recognise that this comes from nothing but a positive place, as someone who was diagnosed with clinical depression for years due to abuse and a pre-existing neurological condition his response was targeted at a victim-mentality more than clinical depression, which are not the same things, and someone with this question should seek actual professional help as the advice may boost symptoms. One would argue they understand medication cant be replaced but the goal of therapy getting to the root of the problem and building from there (reduced victim mentality, dopamine/serotonin managing habits, building purpose). Not everyone has the emotional tools to do so, are in a safe enough environment to do so and may suffer from pre-existing/co-morbid issues that further hinder working towards self. We all know depression isn't an abstract concept and there's actual reduced neurological and organ functioning involved so basic funtioning is threatened. Moreover, alot of people that I worked with diagnosed with depression were hard working worked out, with ourpose, without victim mentality, practising Muslims and have successful relationships/careers (including myself). Not saying this advice won't help at all, but it's subjective and not always feasible for depressed people and make people who have already acomplished them feel hopeless.

    really glad you talked about making your passion your career, your norm shouldn't be that. passion loses its place when it's done on a necessity for me atleast. I noticed that when I was making art on the side while focusing on my studies I had way more energy to sit down and commit to a piece. During Summer vacation when i tried putting my all into art it just didn't work that well and it lost some of it's charm.

    *My opinion on the second topic: The people who are Muslim, do you really think you are a Muslim without any purpose? Allah chose you and Allah knows you better than your parents and Allah gave you a purpose.
    *My opinion on the third topic: Keep your deen before anything even before your life, you can still study after giving your deen max 3 hours including salah, zikr etc.
    *My opinion on the fourth topic: A test is always hard, there is no test that is easy, life is a temporary stay, and the reward of the test will be given to those who live life on the righteous path. This Dunya is (Fani).
    * My opinion on the fifth topic: I can't tell you because I am not married. Just choose a companion who brings you close to God in otherwards when you are with your companion, he or she reminds you about God, you prayed because he or she forced you those are the qualities I will look for in my companion too if I get married.InshAllah.
    *My opinion on the sixth topic: Are you depressed because you look at yourself as a lost cause? If you do, I can make sure that you are not strongly attached to your deen. Studies bring you depression, play any surah and then study and don't care about your grades, just study with your heart, Allah will award you if he doesn't then that means that you passing will result in the deterioting of your behavior like it will make you ignorant, selfish etc.
    i was only able to write some because its time for Isha

    If anyone is wandering how to stop an addictive sin, here is some advice - understand that you have to do your part in saying no to doing the sin and you have to ask Allahs help - He could grant you the dua in a second, but you too have to make a plan - write down how exactly you will stop the sin every time you find yourself in the situation. Then commit to doing that . Every . Single . Time . Repent sincerely every time too and do not despair in the mercy of Allah . If you are doing these things and you have a bad day, just take a minute to reflect, make dua sincerely to Allah, and reset - commit to the plan again.
    InshaAllah you find benefit, Allah good comes from Allah, we need to fight our nafs to please Him, and you WILL see the reward, in this life and the next, inshaAllah

      Definitely well said.
      I will love if I could add more within this topic..
      What benefited me is after a sin that has been problematic or addictive is to pray 2 rakha after that it helps really really well from my side for sure at the beginning it wouldn't show that much results but latter it's just gets better. So, ur brain before doing the sin will rethink twice. as well as we all know that good deeds erases the sins so, always follow a sin with a good deeds inshallah and u will be in a better condition for sure.

    PLEASE make that video about fitnah. And how to influence other young Muslims to get back on deen (in a soft tactful way). It makes me sad to see other Muslim youth go entirely astray.

    I dont know if this is a bad habit but whenever I have good days in back of mind tell my self dont get too comfortable because laugh and cry lives in the same house. Like yes I thank allah for the good days but at the same time I seem to be a bit pestimistic .
