TheShatteringSpider hey I usually play with triggers flipped so my L1/R1 buttons. I am curious to know if there is a smart bumper mod instead of the smart triggers. Also I see scuff advertising digital triggers/bumpers wondering if this is the same thing just different wording
@@Ali-zv1yk it can be done, just find compatible tactile triggers, or the same as the one here but sans it down much more so it actually fits and wire it to the corresponding pins on the extended silk pad thing.
Would you know what the little black box is called that makes digital triggers? And where may I get one, I have broke mine and now stuck on trying to know how to fix it
Just doing some research, is it possible that the digital tap triggers/bumpers can cause issues with your d pad? I noticed this after some prolonged use of my controller. Want to make sure I dont need to replace everything.
I’m slightly confused about the sizing for jdm05x tact buttons. Are the sizes 5x5x5 or is it 6x6x8 as the website picture shows? Would 6x6 tact button fit in this area even?
Was pretty pumped to finally receive mines but it either the trigger doesn’t register or the input keeps registering without me pressing the trigger. Pls help
I'm not sure I understand how the remap chip connects with the actual controller, in the video it looks like they are just laid on top of each other. I really would like these but I want to understand how they work first
Don't know if you ever found your answer, but that's exactly how chips like this work. They just have a passthrough connection, and leads that come off of it, so you can send the signal from another input. There are two pegs in the controller that keep the regular lead lined up, and the chip's connection fits right onto them.
Hi guys. I have a question about this. I already have after market back buttons installed on my controller. Will I need to remove this if I wanted to add the smart triggers here? I do not want to solder anything lol. Thanks in advance. I also want to get the increased stuck tension springs.
Can I install in DS4 v1 JDM 030? How long does the switch need 5mm or 6mm, some other length? Does the yellow foil fit all types of DS4, including the JDM 030 or not?
@@kadu1029 I ended upbjusy getting some zip tissue and cutting it together in a way that it actives the conductive pad faster with a slight tap while keeping a long range of being press down. For my right trigger I originally did the same but then added a screw in the trigger to limit the range then put a flat surface on top of it. Now it can only go about half way and activates fast too like a trigger stop.
does this product make computer mouse like click when pressed? i have the extreme rate version and was disappointed that they dont make a clicking noise like scuf's do but what can you expect when your paying so much less.
A_4b there is a price of plastic in the way of the trigger so you don’t have to pull 100% of the trigger so this helps with comfort and makes less finger movement
@A_4b in my experience yes. Fast response time so shots are instant, and the short travel distance, thanks to these types of triggers, allows faster trigger fingers when it comes to single fire weapons
Cool but... definitely not worth it! 70€ price for the DS4, 30€ price for your triggers tot 100€! With 100€ there are a ton of great pro controller with paddles and smart triggers ready to use out there! You should definitely drop the price to 5 max 10€! Otherwise any clever person will realise that it is not worth it. Especially because you can make smart triggers by yourself at home for absolutely free, just putting stops under the buttons. Well made instruction video btw.
This channel truly knows what a ps4 controller gamer needs 👍
Broh you have good taste for music man.
Finally found a channel that does this stuff thanks man
Just received and installed and they work great. I also have an extremrate rate dawn remap kit with paddles and it works perfect.
How’d you install it? Ribbon cables just stack on top of each other?
@@187mrpimp yes, I stacked the ribbons.

Was gonna ask this too
3weeks pass no reply...
@@Ali-zv1yk Yeah but most likely it works anyway as all the pins connect to each other so it shouldn't interfere with one another.b

seem to be tact switch
If I already have a controller with 4 buttons mapped to the back, can I add these smart tiggers as well. Even though all the grounds are used up??
Yes you can stack the grounds ontop of each other no problem, jusy add 2 wires to 1 solder point. This way you can have more then 4 buttons remapped.
You can also run a ground loop as long as they are all on the same pole. th-cam.com/video/4ND0INUxDIo/w-d-xo.html around 23:40 he explains it.
XQ Gaming hi, will this work with Collective Minds Strike Pack FPS Dominator ?
This may sound dumb but for the board, two wires can go on the same ground right.?
In video at 2:15 can u also use back Button remap chip as well as smart trigger? So is it stackable?
Yes you can do remappable buttons on the chip for scuf or anything else AND do the smart triggers.
XQ Gaming no I mean another on another chip can u have two chips in on dualshock
@@vrtk1411 I have not tested it myself but in theory the signal should go through yes. But you would have to stack them perfectly.
I understand what your saying. I have the remap chip as well and I would just need the triggers not another board. If its not necessary.
Just doing some research, is it possible that the digital tap triggers/bumpers can cause issues with your d pad? I noticed this after some prolonged use of my controller. Want to make sure I dont need to replace everything.
Make a video showing how to make this grip on the back of the Dualshock 4

I am still testing all V1 models before I add them to my website. I have to wait a week or so for some products before I can release info on the V1.
Are these buttons really long lasting ? Had to change a lot of those (different ones) in the past .
They are rated for 100k clicks, if they actually last that long I cannot guarantee since I havent tested them myself for that amount.
Do these work with gen 3 controllers specifically model# 4-573-474-01G ?
I'm assuming this won't work with etremerates led kit?
Wonder if these could work together with Sony official back buttons attachment (Back Paddles). 😑
Is the modchip needed or would just added the tactile buttons be good for the click feeling and making the conductive pads click faster?
Same I was wondering too
