Btw what gen is this ps4 controller? Because my controller doesn’t look like that one. Mine has a bunch of different features inside. They look different
are the triggers supposed to have the same click as the L1 and R1 buttons? My controller works fine but the triggers dont have any click at all. Just want to make sure I did it correctly.
I was placing down the buttons inside the controller, then the film connecting it snapped. I was wondering if this goes under warranty or i’ll have to buy a new one?
I think that will not be an issue since its already been overlayed. The question is if it will fit with the triggerstops :) I'd like to have the clicky L1/R1 buttons.
I am in the same situation. ordered the dawn 2.0 with the trigger stop cause I didn't think I had the room place digital triggers ( from another company ) as that would make a 2nd over lay ( one for the paddles and one for digital triggers ) on the MOB. After watching this videos It seem as though I i should just gotten the old remap kit with 4 paddles then get this and I would had one hell of a controller. However I made my purchase based on the fact many reviewer noted that the top paddles where difficult to press/ accidentally pressed. so I said two paddles with trigger stops is a win still. I think the solution that extreme Rate has is a brilliant one as as I could have the paddles and digital triggers in one controller
Yes you can, I'm going to do a video on that soon as it arrives. I've got the dawn 1 and 2.0 but think itll work better on the 1 as I wont need trigger stops 😁
I tried it, mines won’t work. v1 n v2 wont remap with this on. Hair triggers work fine. Remap works fine if i remove this. Any suggestions or help appreciated.

@@ExtremeRate Update: I have a PS4 Infinity Scuff controller(Two back paddles) with trigger stops. Clicky triggers were not 100% compatible due to Scuff having custom L2/R2 trigger so the inserts provided would not work. It was an easy solution, I luckily have a spare control that I took the L2/R2 from. Now the mod works flawlessly with the Scuff controller. So if someone wanted to add the clicky triggers to their Scuff, be ready to have L2/R2 to replace the Scuff triggers.

Can you get this to work with just the bumpers being clicky? I play games with driving and I still want to be able to control my speed. My friend has clickable bumpers like this and I really like the feel
We updated our flex to double-side printed, but we are not sure if all the stocks are swapped. If you got the newer version, then you can just cut off the L2 R2 part of this flex and then overlay it on the stock controller flex.
Hello I'm having a bit of trouble when it comes to putting the L2 and R2. The triggers already seem to be pressing on the button when stationary. I have the right model of the controller and I already have the dawn 1.0 which has worked perfectly. Please could you help me on this. Thanks

@@alvarodfm631 This model is from a new factory, the L2 R2 buttons has a slightly different structure from inside. Yes, we recommend the DAWN V1 to combo with this clicky kit. With DAWN V2 and DECADE, the trigger stop mechanism will become useless after install the clicky kit
Please since you've already gone through the effort of making the replacement flex, can you sell a version without the buttons? Essentially a much higher quality version of the original part. The stock ribbons tend to break traces near the button pads when people press the buttons too hard for a long time. The pcbs you made should last a lot longer, and a stock upgrade version would be very welcome for people who want the quality of your part, but still want analog triggers. Also, you could totally sell an rgb version. You already did most the work, a single pcb for rgb and click triggers (or just a flat upgrade flex pcb with rgb) would be amazing.

i bought the extremerate trigger click kit and somehow i got stick drift on both my sticks
can someone help me
Should I install these clicky hair triggers before or *after* doing the 4-paddle Dawn 1.0 mod?

I just bought your clicky trigger kit I've used your products for Xbox recently and loved it but the clicky kit I bought for the ps4 controller both of the triggers don't click at all and I can't figure out why I've tried everything I can think of can you help please?
I have ti same problem
Have the same problem just in the L2
Why won't my controller open, with all the screws out.. the bottom center of the controller Is completely solid like there's a screw In it, everything else opens up.
Do you mean you can't even take off the bottom shell? The shells not only fixed by the screws, there are also clips on the left and right side of the controller, as well as the down side. So you need to do some prying on it.
My controler inside is different to this one, there is no hole for the black tape thing to go through the controller & my triggers are different
Can you see JDM numbers on the controller mainboard?
@@ExtremeRate I've sorted it now thank you, works well but I can't connect by USB or charge it?

what type controller trigget this in video do not have spring

Any idea what might went wrong?

@@ExtremeRate Hello there, no it seems I did something way too wrong.
Tried the kit on another controller though, and had the LED KIT you offer on top and the connection was not good. The controller would turn on and off randomly.

this is great buying a new controller just to install this. I really don't want to open my dawn 2.0. are we still getting the new kit this month?.
What's the new kit do you mean? :)
Hi, I'm sure I have the v2 of the dualshock 4 and I have bought this kit along with the remap kit. I have installed everything and my l1 and r1 and r2 are working but l2 each time I push it back into place it just presses the button in and stays like that. Seems like the distance is not enough and I dont know what to do
Hi, please refer to this video th-cam.com/video/S-Uj-kRYPW4/w-d-xo.html
I just bought it and when i try to turn on the controller it does not work and i have the dawn v1 is been working fine but when i put this one the controller does not turn on does anyone know whats going on
Do you mean you install it with the DAWN V1? The problem must be from the alignment between the Clicky flex and the orange flex of DAWN, please re-position them and fix the screw on the controller mainboard firmly, if the problem stand still, please let us know
Btw what gen is this ps4 controller? Because my controller doesn’t look like that one. Mine has a bunch of different features inside. They look different
So I was reading if you press more then one button it won’t read right is that true?
What do you mean exactly?
Yeah if u press L2 and L1 then the L1 button get stucked
Hi. Will sony back button attachment work normally after this modification?
I have a problem with the R2 key it presses by itself how do I solve?
After you press it down, can it go back?

are the triggers supposed to have the same click as the L1 and R1 buttons? My controller works fine but the triggers dont have any click at all. Just want to make sure I did it correctly.
been having the same issue, the clear pieces are just loose so it pops out even after installing it
Be great if you could add clicky buttons to D PAD and other buttons too. Maybe on your upcoming PS5 mods?
Thanks for your suggestion! We are working on the PS5, the clicky triggers will come out soon, and the others still in development, please stay tuned!

Do I need the springs in the triggers buttons to use it?
No
Should I buy it
Would you sell a version of this without the trigger locks because I wanna get the clicky hair trigger but only want two paddle buttons
Then you can use DAWN V1 and set K1 K3 to nothing and take the caps off
@@ExtremeRate ok ok thanks
Does this also work with the DAWN 2.0 kit, since it has the triggerstops on the backside?
No it won't as you can't overlap chips on top of each other, you maybe able to solder but not overlay.
We will test it!
Thank you! :D
Hey could you guys do one for Xbox. And also are these shorter that you normal trigger stops
We are studying the solution on the Xbox One. This hair trigger is shorter than our trigger stops mechanism.
why wont l2 and r2 fit with the rubber thing on?
Same here i just have the problem on the L2...Dosent fit... The L1 and L2 all good
it would be perfect pad to me if ExtremeRate create circle shaped d-pad like logitech f310 pad for ds4
Can you use this with the v1 Dawn remap kit? If so that would definitely taking my gaming to the next level 😉😁
Yes you can, I'm going to do a video on that soon as it arrives. I've got the dawn 1 and 2.0 but think itll work better on the 1 as I wont need trigger stops 😁
Can't wait to see your video!
Yes!
I tried it, mines won’t work. v1 n v2 wont remap with this on. Hair triggers work fine. Remap works fine if i remove this. Any suggestions or help appreciated.
@@Jay-ww6hg That's weird, I've literally just uploaded a video on my channel showing you it works. I've been using it since Friday with no issues.
Did you solder or do it without soldering? I'd double check the ribbon cable is connected properly
When will you be making the hair triggers for the Xbox one series???
You will see it in March!
But soldering required, are you ready?
sorry im late but will these work with bionik quikshots, or extended triggers in general
If the items you mentioned works with the original triggers, then yes.

Please make sure the connection part of the flex was installed correctly, try to reinstall it please
Cna this be applied with the extra buttons
Will there be something similar for xbox controllers?
We can make something but you have to solder to make it work, that will not an easy project
If you had a six button layout for the dawn kit and trigger stopers that can turn on and off it woyld be great. Also hope you guys and gals can make a ps5 controler re map at launch
Thanks for your suggestion! And we are not confident can release the remap kit for PS5 controller at its launch, but we will try!
I just bought this for my scuff controller. Hopefully it's compatible. It is the newer controller but I took it apart and it might be possible the scuff configuration might interfere
We never tried so please keep us updated :)
It also might just be the trigger stops integrated with the Scuff L2/R2 that make it not compatible.
@@xGEOxSDx Thanks for letting us know that! Now your Scuf Infinity controller performs better now lol
Are you guys developing one with clicky triggers if so do you know how long it is going to take I was going to get these but wanting to try any new improve better ones if you guys are making one.
We are making another version which with more tactile sound, may be available in June
Will this cause any button delays?
No
Can you get this to work with just the bumpers being clicky?
Thanks
Have you double checked you've put the new board on over the R2 and L2 buttons properly? I tested mine before putting the controller back together, to make sure everything was all good
What's the color of your controller analog stick component? Are they yellow?
@@CraigsChannel yes I went through it a few times but still nothing

@@alvarodfm631 This model is from a new factory, the L2 R2 buttons has a slightly different structure from inside. So when you put the clear piece into them, the clear piece will be pop up alittle, this will cause the stuck. Hi, I'm going to buy this, and I've already had DAWN 2.0 FLASHSHOT TRIGGER STOP REMAP KIT FOR PS4 CUH-ZCT2 CONTROLLER. Can I use both them at the same time? Thank you.
Sure, just after the combo, the trigger stops mechanism on DAWN 2.0 will become useless, the L2 R2 will always be clicky
Is the kit compatible with the remapping backplate kits of yours because of the contacts on the fpc board?
Bought these for FPS, tried using on Cod and my controller is unresponsive in app but works on the Home Screen, etc. have they banned ‘modded’ controllers or have I messed up my install?
Definitely done something wrong or placed something in the wrong place. I use mine everyday, was meaning to try it on my PS5 today but forgot, I'll test it tomorrow.
They can ban or stop these are they aren't doing anything wrong like say actual in game hacks like walls or aim bot
Can you put these digital switches in the pro decal controller
If you mean the DECADE kit, then yes
Is the circuit board required for the triggers? I already have a led kit installed onto my controller
It's required, but it compatible with the LED kit! Just replace the stock buttons flex with the clicky flex!

Great products! Installed one of yalls remap kits and also just finished installing this trigger kit. I was curious about the backside paddles. Do ya'll sell circular button caps for the tact switches?
Personally I prefer the triangle shaped buttons, I've used both and not a massive fan of the circle ones
We now only have the circle buttons for the DAWN remap kit V2
Can we use this along with the LED kit you offer?
Yes
I need the back button kit and this too😭
Will these work with aluminum metal ps4 buttons
No
Would this work on a controller that allready has programable back buttons?
Which back buttons kit is it? I'm using this with the v1 mod kit eXtremerate do, works absolutely perfect
Yes, we recommend the DAWN V1 to combo with this clicky kit. With DAWN V2 and DECADE, the trigger stop mechanism will become useless after install the clicky kit
Will this effect me when playing racing games?
Yes
Yes, only 0 or full speed
Please since you've already gone through the effort of making the replacement flex, can you sell a version without the buttons? Essentially a much higher quality version of the original part. The stock ribbons tend to break traces near the button pads when people press the buttons too hard for a long time. The pcbs you made should last a lot longer, and a stock upgrade version would be very welcome for people who want the quality of your part, but still want analog triggers.
Also, you could totally sell an rgb version. You already did most the work, a single pcb for rgb and click triggers (or just a flat upgrade flex pcb with rgb) would be amazing.
Thanks for your suggestion! For the RGB version, it's quite difficult because there is limited space for both the buttons and LED circuits!
