    Hi, thanks for posting. My hubby and I will be going to Hokkaido in November. Great tips! Which part of November were you both there? We will be in Japan for 19 days. But we don’t know should we go to Hokkaido first or western first.

      @aeagoh1 do you have tips for things to do in November in Hokkaido? We are also going mid November and wondering what is recommended in colder weather. Thanks!

      I’ll spent 7 nights in Hokkaido. Will spend 2 nights at Hakodate. Planning to take the local tram to move around. Then we’ll stay at Jonzenki for 2 nights then last 3 nights in Sapporo. Still thinking if we take the local transport or rent a car or engage private driver. Need to check out the weather nearer the date.

    Hi, we will be going to hokaido end of September. I wanted to know if it's possible to use the Jr pass in hokaido?
    If we are planning to be there for five nights, is it best to rent a car or use public transport?
    Also is it possible to use the luggage sending service in Hokkaido as well?
    Thanks 🙏

    If i'm using the limited express train like the hokuto or lilac-kamui to travel between cities, and not reserve a seat, can i just show the rail pass to board? Or do i still have to get a ticket?

    only the full 7day JR pass will cover the train ride from tokyo all the way to Hokkido . 6 day pass dont cover right ?

    • @thetravelintern
      @thetravelintern  ปีที่แล้ว

      you can get the JR East-South Hokkaido Rail Pass, which is 6 days and covers from Tokyo to Sapporo! Then you can change it for a Hokkaido rail pass if you want to stay longer!

    • @tanjem
      @tanjem ปีที่แล้ว

    Is there a JR train going to Biei? or you really need to take a car going there?

    • @thetravelintern
      @thetravelintern  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi! I think there’s a JR station to get you to (or at least near) Biei. We just found it more convenient to rent a car, given our time constraints and itinerary. Hope this helps!

    Nothing special and video/presentation is super so-so. One of the poorest I've seen. Puzzled why citibank will sponsor them to promote their card.
