Your sense of style is a bazillion times more helpful to women compared to all these other people on TH-cam who are constantly doing hauls which is so wasteful and really gives the impression you should just have something for one season. I love your focus on the longevity of a wardrobe piece and how you can style it different ways to give it new life instead of us constantly throwing everything in a landfill reminding us the fashion industry is one of the worst polluters on this earth.

I loved this video Audrey, thank you for talking about the beauty that scarves add to an outfit. I’ve been wearing and collecting scarves for about 40 years, and they don’t wear out or go out of style once you know your colour palette. I have a full scarf wardrobe! And since I prefer simpler solid colours in my clothing wardrobe, I use scarves to add colour, texture, pattern and pizzazz! Plus they are my favourite travel souvenirs - easy to pack and a lovely reminder of my trips every time I wear them!

I don't own a single scarf that isn't purely for keeping out the cold in the winter. I'm not even really into fashion, I have a minimal wardrobe. But your videos really inspire me and make me want to explore my own style! I have neurodermitis and often get skin irritations on my neck, which make me feel insecure at times. Always thinking that scarves would look silly on me when they're purely accesessories...now I see I was totally wrong! Next time I go shopping I'll definitely have a lookout for designs that I like so that I can practice your techniques
I have one of these scarves because of you and i love it! The best tip i have is to choose a square scarf with no repeating pattern. Like a picture, not a pattern. When putting on the scarf like a triangle, there are 4 different scarves in one scarf.

I also wear scarves on my head, turbans or wraps. I know a lot of women who do it for religious reasons, but for me, it's a creative expression of self. I love wearing them around my neck, also, especially when it gets cold here in northern New England. Thank you for sharing your ideas. They are gorgeous scarves! Pinterest also has some charts on elaborate ways & simple ways to wear scarves, but it's good to see it actually being done.

This winter, my plan is to wear my scarves more often. I put up a thin tension rod in my closet and looped all the scarves on it, so when I'm picking my outfit, the scarves are RIGHT THERE for me to coordinate.

I inherited a few scarf tying manuals from my grandmother- she kept every single one whenever she bought a scarf- that rose bud is called a rosette and it's easy to tie if you have a picture to go along with it.
You introduced me to Sabina Savage and I now have three!
I too love scarves, particularly 90cm silk squares, and have been wearing them since my late teens when I worked in the scarf department of a London department store. Following your introduction I now have a beautiful Sabina Savage silk square. Many of my scarves are now 40 years old, never go out of fashion, and always add a chic element to an outfit, whether tonal or a pop of colour on a simple colour palette. My favourite way to wear a scarf is with a cotton shirt. Fold a 90cm square to a triangle, pop up the collar of the shirt, put the scarf over your shoulders triangle point of the scarf to the back and tie the front ends in a loose low knot at the front. Fold the shirt collar down to sit loosely in the folds of the scarf.
Well, Happy Birthday to me! I’ve been looking at these scarves for about two years now and you finally pushed me over the edge. I ordered the wool and silk ”The Pheasant Tree” in damson and gold. I’m so excited! One of my favorite ways to wear a silk scarf is to tie it like a man’s tie in a Windsor knot.
I have always loved scarves but got out of wearing them as I got in my 30s because the prints I found seemed too juvenile. After watching your channel for the last year, I got Sabina’s Cunning Kitsune in Spring, and I am fully back in love again. Thanks for showing that grown up style can include a pared down palette, but still be joyful and quirky in the best way!

scarves are such an underrated accessory! i'm very surprised you didn't show anything to do with hair - I think smaller scarves in particular can be so pretty tied into a headband or knotted into hair and left to hang loose. perfect for people like me who hate hats but may want a bit of colour!

I love these ideas so much. I have 3 Sabina Savage Scarves now and hope to get another one for Christmas. My favorite way to wear the 90cm scarf is to fold into a triangle, then roll into a skinny rectangle and tie 3 knots evenly spaced and tie around my neck like a necklace. It’s a great way to wear during hotter weather or to keep it tidy as a mom of young children. XO
Favorite scarf experience - many years ago I worked at a rental car office. Every week a family of missionaries from the Philipines would rent a car to drive the state doing amazing good. I always made sure they had a clean, suitable car (which often meant I had to hide keys from the other agents). After many months they came in not to rent, but to let me know they were leaving the area and wanted to give me a token of thanks. I received a beautiful scarf, but at the time I was too young to appreciate it (and I was not aware of high fashion), so I tucked it away in a closet. Fast forward about 15 years and I found the scarf, still in its original box neatly packed away. The scarf is a hand painted original silk Hermes. I usually don't hold on to things I don't use, but for some reason this token stayed with me. I like to think its a sign to remember to always be kind - kindness is the greatest gift we can ever give.
Sabina's works are beautiful and I plan to save up to make a purchase. Her scarves look beautiful on you, and i greatly appreciate this content just as the weather starts to turn cooler. Thanks Audrey!
I started buying scarves from charity shops a couple of years ago, got some lovely silk ones for a couple of £'s. I've also had a few great finds, a Ted Baker scarf, a Calvin Klein one, a Benetton one and best of all a Christian Dior silk scarf!

I love scarves and have several. I often find them difficult to find in a single palette though. Most silk scarves are a mixture of palettes, making them trickier to wear with 'your season' colours. I love handbag scarves. I tend to stick to simpler designs rather than busier patterns.

Loved this video Audrey ! For myself I love to wear a silk scarf as a belt in the summer. Wether on a high waisted short or pants, jeans . Or just if I want to sinch a dress or a shirt . I always carry a couple in my bag. So I can also protect my head when it gets too sunny .

Excited to watch as always Audrey 😊 Since I'm early enough you might see this, I'd love it if you did a video on transforming impractical (but beautiful) outfits into practical ones for colder months. Maybe by either looking at summer outfits and turning them fall/winter, or just some pretty outfits you find on pinterest. I'm struggling with looking cute while not being freezing!

Wearing scarves is sometime I’ve been known for since I was a teenager.
Doesn’t matter the season, I always have some kind of scarf of.
One of my favorites was this long, lightweight silver yarn scarf that I worea lot during the warm months as a teen.
I also crochet, and I’m a thrift queen, so my scarf collection is diverse & huge. LOL

Love this video! I am a scarf addict. I have very short hair, and absolutely love wearing a thin scarf tied around my head, securing behind one ear, and allowing the ends to hang down across that same shoulder. I usually pair it with large earrings, and always receive compliments. (I especially enjoy wearing this style scarf with my nautical outfits. Think Navy And White w/ large gold hoop earrings.)
I learn how to styled them, they have multiple ways to used them in any season! even @ summer wish seems more dificult, And became one of my key players for styling in my head , arms as bracelet, scarves are awesome as a layer

I found a surprising source of beautiful scarves in the National Trust shops. (I’m in the U.K. NT shops are gift shops which are usually in the vicinity of historic houses and gardens but on some high streets as well). They sell pots of jam and postcards as you might expect but their homeware and accessories in recent years has been stunning and very well crafted.
Timely topic! I didn't know Sabina Savage. I went to her website and love them! Animal themed ones are for me! Definitely it will be my wish list!
I have lots of scarfs but I have been looking for a smallish blue silk scarf for over a year, just have not seen the ONE . I wear heavy coats in winter but in and out of shopping centres,so this type is handy to put in a pocket or on when sitting in a coffee shop.
If you are looking for a pocket square, try a men's store.
I always find pretty scarves at Etsy, eBay and Nordstrom Rack.
