Well I have been to Clacton awhile ago now love the sea. Front gardens very beautiful with plenty of garden seats to sit and have a rest . Also a nice little town to wonder around . Very clean. Thankyou Patrick 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍Dee

Lived near here in the 50s before my family moved to New Zealand. Returnd here for a couple of days in 2019 with my wife while on holiday. Loved the place, has the best Turkish restaurant that we have experienced.
Wish they could bring them back...also clacton pier in my view is one of the best piers I've EVER been to !! Keep up the good work clacton! Stay ahead of your seaside rivals !😉

Great video and exactly an impression of how it is today. You just missed the new big wheel that been added to the front also, big amounts of investment on the pier and tourism for Clacton-on-Sea. I live here and this video conjures up a lot of what tempted us to buy and invest in this sea side town. Thanks.
Wow, it’s changed a lot from my days delivering walls ice cream to all these kiosks and in my 5 great years down here had everyone under the walls banner and was here in the great year off 1976 where I sold out off my £1500/1800 lorry load off ice cream daily folks. There was more kiosks then too . John aitken walls ice cream wholesale salesman 1973/78 then did 5 years on Southend on sea seafront .
@@GimbalWalkTV I visited 1st time 2 yrs ago on a day trip. Really impressed with how clean & great real style cafe in the town. Lovely breakfast & price was great.
My home town and I love it, though I stay away from the area around the pier and amusements during school holidays as it gets a bit 'busy' to be polite. Thanks for showing Clacton to be as beautiful as any other seaside town. It gets maligned by snobby folks.
Oh I don't listen to snobby people - I head to places and show them off as well as I can without listening to their negativity! Life's too short for people like that eh!

ive been to Clacton but its been awhile , it made me not well . I enjoyed the 🚶♂️ 🚶♀️ especially walking along the seafront and on the beach. I thought it creepy underneath of the pier , you were brave, it looked like the tide was coming in. I bet your tired with the sea air and all the walking. did your have a nice rest Afterwards. enjoy the rest of your week.
I really liked Clacton, the only problem was the drive to get there, I was stuck on a road going there for about 25 minutes, it was so long that the driver of a car decided to have a nap in their car
.... could you do Amesbury in Wiltshire please because I wish Amesbury had more of the town centre on TH-cam because that place is hard to figure out with google maps on what it's like there. Maybe walk from The George Hotel in Amesbury to Stonehenge as well as what Amesbury's like for shops and things, IDK. Seems like no one's done the walk to Stonehenge from Amesbury featuring any points of reference an outsider could use/rather it started at an arbitrary spot already outside of Amesbury saying "Amesbury's back in that direction" before turning off to hike through fields on this footpath, so IDK; starting that video back in Amesbury would have been amazing as then I'd have been able to follow its direction; plus I'd like to see what it's like basing myself in Amesbury for any Stonehenge trips maybe and they have a Tesco and a high street I believe, but TH-cam offers bits and pieces with nothing strung together.

I went on a mystery trip on British Rail in the 70s it went to Clacton on sae it is a nice place to go to!.❤❤
