Maaann it never stops being cool seeing TD in sync. I can imagine him saying “They jumping me, THEY JUMPING ME” when his head gets broken n gets toppled lmao
Wilds trailer comes out and the kid Nata out there criticising the hunter for not immediately taking action. Team Darkside's immediate response is to absolutely dunk an elder dragon to let little bro know they haven't lost their touch.
moments like these are really cool to watch, both from the side and during the gameplay itself but from the side of game mechanics and their understanding, the situation turns out to be much sadder, because such combos with the same weapon are performed for the reason that they give maximum damage in the allotted time, and allow you to loop the monster stunning chain as if realizing that someone or you with your comrades are performing the most appropriate actions for a given situation, this is also great, but after a couple of hundred kills of the same monsters, you understand that the weapon does not have any good alternatives to replace these combos (yes, you already start pressing buttons without even looking at the screen, because you memorized the timings, but sometimes you would like to do something else ... so in general, going out to hunt for a certain monster and with a certain weapon, you already understand what combinations you will now use) yes, changing weapons allows you to change the style a little, switch to another format, but as I indicated earlier, it will also have a certain pattern that the player will follow to do the most damage Part 4 and Rise dilute this segment a little, since there are alternative skills that allow you to choose a more suitable style for each weapon, but even in them at some point you come to the understanding that it is better to take one set of skills for one monster, and some other for another, and in the Sunbreak add-on you can even switch the set of skills during the battle, and the game again comes to the style of "one brain for the whole team"
Yeah, Falling Bash spam was bad enough but mostly ignorable if you wanted, but I think that Perfect Rush was one of the worst things to happen to Sword and Shield in IB because the loss of damage from not using it would be like if you were a Great Sword not using Charged Slashes. Meta for it went from being a highly versatile weapon that could do a little bit of everything, including using items/traps for easy combos, to "Make sure you perfect rush non-stop as much as possible" which is all you hear now from overly DPS-focused posters. SnS Speedruns are more or less focusing knockdowns/traps and then doing the perfect rush1/2 -> roll -> perfect rush 1-4 over and over. Rise had the "You have one best move to spam as much as possible" problem for all weapons, but that was more a function of wirebug attacks which is the main cool new mechanic they wanted combat to revolve around like the Weapon arts in GU. Not that it made it feel great to do, just that it was more intentional.
So i have 2 questions here since iam new to the game. First whats the bar at the right hand from the sharpness bar and second i once got a sns player who joined my group who used completly different attacks from normal sns moves it was kinda like explosiv draw attacks they really packed a punch. Killed a tempered teostra before i was even there what moves did he used and how can i unlock them?
I am starting to play the game and there is something I dont understand, at the beginning it looks like they both used their claws to tenderize the head but how did the head became tenderized instantly? Dont they need to hit it for the head to be tenderized?
Its a bit complex so its fair if you only just now found out about it in a vid. What you need to do is hit the Guard button, then circle, then (relative) back on the stick and if you do the timing right then you get a backhop and can go from there. If you do it wrong because timing is a bit off then you get Guard Slash. You can also do claw uppercuts out of sheathe by hitting Guard just before your roll to "unsheathe" allowing L2 to claw uppercut.
Glad to be part of the team! So excited for what's coming! Thanks Chris and team! 😁
Congrats bro, its great to see a member of TDS from SEA as well!

many people will think this is insane synchronization, but this is just what happens automatically when SnS mains get together
ez claps, gg boys
Tesostra sees two SNS players, but they're from Team Darkside.
Teostra: I'M FIGHTING FOR MY F'ING LIFE!
Is he though? Looks to just be floundering like a fish 😭
dude, he's not even fighting. its basically stun fest 99% of the time

TDS are forever my heroes, no matter who joins the team. I love watching these videos. Welcome to the team, guys! It was an excellent first showing.
Proud to have these bois finally join the team.

This reminds me to that clips of 3 or 4 identical & Synched longsword users bullying a Nargacuga in Rise.
SnS will forever be my favourite weapon. I was able to beat so many difficult fights with it with relative low trouble.
When your weapon has ONE good move. As a big S&S player from 4th Gen, it hurts my soul.
Literally when shinji and asuka kicked that angels ass after that training shit
Perfect rush cancel was exactly what SNS needed. Like I’m watching yuji itadori do consecutive black flashes 😂😂
I really love this kind content like.. sure every weapon weilder will have same kinda Mind set.. and for sure it is..
Somewhere, JoeCrap is exalting the power of the Sword and Shield.
Still can’t believe some of the swords and shields in this game look like they were meant for Lego characters, yet they are so strong I love it🤣
this is not a hunt. This is a performance. This is art
