Definitely getting one. Where 1000+ on smartphones is normal these days and 1500+ on foldable phones, 1499 seems like a price I would happily consider.
Got this a month ago and due to the nature of my work as a consultant I usually multi-task with Microsoft office apps (Excel, Powerpoint, word, etc), and I've been using dual monitors for a long time. Having a laptop that can easily snap into dual monitors on the run while maintaing a good battery life and performance is honestly a dream come true. This thing is ahead of its time
Where is the power button on laptop mode
What do you think is the best laptop for Microsoft office application?
I think the surface laptop and surface pro nails in it.
I have the zenbook duo half screen and it's perfect for me. Not sure how often I personally would need two full screen displays but for content creators and business folk who often multi-task, I can see this as essential. Awesome
Its better then a 16 or 17 inch laptop, much more screen, while beeing smaller and lighter.
Using chatgpt and a pdf on the other
Does your zenbook duo come with facial recognition for login? Non of them seem to.
@@anne-isabellebonifassi6942 I received the laptop today and just set up my face, so yes, it's there. But no fingerprint reader
@@anne-isabellebonifassi6942 yes I got my laptop yesterday and it has face recognition. But no fingerprint reader
I got my wonderful Asus Zenbook 14x UX5401ZAS (ISS Space station edition) back in Dec '22, but now I REALLY want the new Asus Zenbook Duo!
Just bought a Yoga Book 9i and love it. This is a great implementation to have a full size keyboard and keep it in one package. Only downside is it looks very, very thick compared to the Lenovo.
I hope you bought the 2024 Yoga Book 9i refresh which has the new Intel chips.
It was just announced at CES 2024.
@@PSYCHOV3N0M you hope I already bought the new version that was announced a few days ago and isn't available to purchase until April? Well, no. No I didn't.
I don't really care that much about chips and specs and benchmarks so am not too concerned though. Might given the Asus a look in April when it's refresh time though.
Don't forget that the comparisson is not fair, because with the lenovo 9i you don't have a keyboard. If you put the keypboard on top it will be thicker...I also don't like that keyboard (no backlit illumination, and sometimes the magnets don't hold well, which makes the keyboard slide a bit)
On top of that, this laptop has a full HDMI and USB A port, which proably also causes it to be a bit thicker. Lastly the lenovo is 2 x 13.3 screens, while the asus has 2 x 14 inch (more screen estate), I just purchased the asus duo for 2100 euros (core ultra 9 185H, 32GB ram, 3K OLEDS) , it's already available in europe and not expensive (+ you get a pen, a backpack, and transport sleeve which doubles as a stand). How much did you pay for the lenovo?
@@sebkeccu4546 these are all good points. The ASUS definitely isn't as nice from a design standpoint, but it does tick a lot of boxes as you've described and I'll have to check it out once its launched. Or since I've only had the Lenovo for a month, maybe skip this and buy the next gen.
I compared both and went with a yoga 9i. Keyboard is a plus in zenbook. I wish aftermarket comes in this space to enable customers choose the desired configuration of laptop
Asus made me fall in love with laptops again... I just hope Microsoft does something like this
Asus is the most innovative when it comes to laptops imo, always trying new things
@@SuperSafLenovo released the Yoga Book 9i in 2023 and they just announced their Windows/Android hybrid laptop at CES 2024.
Lenovo is the one pushing innovation. Not Asus.
@@PSYCHOV3N0M
they both do
@@PSYCHOV3N0M ASUS has Asus Transformer Book Trio with Windows/Android hybrid (in 2012)
and ASUS Transformer Book V with all Phone/Tablet/Laptop in one.
With also a technically "dual screens" the ASUS Taichi book.
I'm sure they will all come out with such device, because it's a revolution. Lenovo yoga 9i also had such configuration but there were a lot of problems with it (keyboard was sometimes sliding while typing, no backlit keyboard (unusable in the dark), the keyboard had to be carried seperatly, and it didn't have a USB A or HDMI port.
Watching this on a Yoga Book 9i
😂
Same here
Asus knocked it out of the park it's beautiful
Asus is killing it
They have to come out wit a version like what they did with the Zephyrus produo!
1. It needs to me 15.6-17"... i know that it will be heavier
2. 1080pm is sufficient to the average consumer.
3. It needs dedicated graphics....
4. The top screen can be just as thin, just bigger
If Asus would have made this with a 2 in 1 / Tent Mode / 360 type hinge, it would be my perfect laptop. But for now, it will do. Hopefully Asus will restock these. Getting one is quite difficult.
Love mine...got it 2 days ago....amazzing!!!
Asus is on fire 🔥
Sure are!
No "You sunk my battleship" mode -_-)..
I have my Asus zenbook produo on late 2021 and falling in love instantly until today...and your review made me want to have the newer one soon
JUST DUO IT 😎🍿🥤💥💥💥💥💥💥💥💥💥💥
I was hoping for a 16 inch model.
I always want to re-install Windows on every PC I have so that I can have a clean (no Microsoft bloatware) Windows. If I do that on this laptop, will the Windows Update get back all the features of this laptop for me?
If this would be possible to use Procreate with ASUs this would be the best tablet laptop for artists! Please somebody compare iPad Pro 2024 vs the asus one!
Lenovo Yoga Book 9i is even more practical to be honest 🤩
but when the zenbook has a better processor, better integrated graphics and more storage for a lower price is the extra 500 dollars really worth a 360 degree hinge?
Got one today!!!!!!
Only if had a gpu
How can I get one from Nigeria
make it 16" 16:10 2k mini led anti reflective screen with a 99Whr battery and ASUS will have my money instantaneously
Mini LED LCD is washed out garbage vs OLED. 🤮🤮🤮
Matte screens degrade picture quality.
Glossy screens preserve picture quality.
do you recommend it for designers using programmes like 3Ds max, AutoCAD, Aftereffect?
Hello sir i need a help from you its urgent
When will this be released, I was looking to buy the Lenovo Yoga 9i but this one is better.. please tell me when will this be available to purchase? Thank you
One of the best inovations in laptop area in the last 20 years... if apple did this people would go crazy 😂
Stroman Knolls
I wonder how Ubuntu linux would do on that device. If it's smooth with linux, Id get it. Might take a few years for that to happen tho
Battery life would be awful.
I hope they will add an Nvidia RTX GPU
When is it released?
I am also reviewing this laptop for my channel. Video will be out very soon
I’ve been looking for it on Amazon but can’t find it.
When does this laptop come out??
I am looking at this or the Lenovo yoga book 9i can anyone give me their opinion on why the Asus would be better?? Cheers :D
Why it is not available in amazon , ???
I want this but I can't afford it 😢😢
When it’s going release in India
How much for it , bro .....
I checked it yesterday...Laggy & frustrating (when changing the Screens orientation)
Can I work on After Effects and Cinema 4d on this laptop?
does it work well with eGPUs?
Can you game on this laptop?
Asus just fooling all with just crazy colorful display at a price point its more of a gimmick than da feature
need 2 16" screens, need rj45 internet gig port, so FAIL. needs better battery 2tb mem min, 32g ram min, not max! price 3000 would be ok for above!!!
It would have been much better if it provides 360' convertible screens @SuperSaf
i got my zenbook duo 2024 120hz oled, ultra 7 155H & 16gb ram few days ago.. in the asus system setting app i put 8gb allocation to the arc GPU & the fan speed option to performance mode with the AC power and was able to play all games on high setting with few tweaks in graphics setting of the games which i couldn't believe an intel laptop without RTX could ever do lol
Hello sir i need a help from you its urgent
GET A JOB!!!
🤣🤣🤣
3K + 3K dual monitors do not equal 6K in viewing experience you may want to check that, technically speaking.
3k + 3k = 3k you are right
This is The Dream Laptop for programmers or people who are in the field of Computer Science.
100%
Or really anyone whose workflow requires lots of referencing
Music production and Audio Enginerring too since it dosent require any gpu power, its mobile, two monitors huge plus great cpu with alot of cores whitch is essential for more advancen heavy projects
Does it run Linux?
My exact thoughts @@yggbeats5759
This is perfect for trading. One screen with MT5, another with Quantower or Tradingview.
Great Idea
That's what I would consider for sure, the only thing is an OLED, which could burn-in with static charts
Thanks for your comprehensive review and recommendation. This is my next laptop!
Good choice!
It's not a review it's an ad
How to make an innovation and then make it useless > 32GB soldered max Ram
Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5 can go home!
I'm buying this laptop for sure!!!
watching this on an asus rog duo, if it breaks. 100% will upgrade to zenbook duo 2024
My concern is that stand. It is built in....great. How about when you go side by side. We were not shown that implementation. Also, when/if you close the laptop without having the keyboard attached could be a bad day. We were told about the on-screen keyboard. If we cannot go anywhere without the onscreen keyboard, then why is it present. I have used the Lenovo offering from last year. That was really well done. The only drawback to that laptop were the 60hz screens, but they were OLED.
With mirror mode, you look at the ceillinglights reflection :-) Tent mode is better for screen sharing(cloning) and tent mode allows you to use it on the couch or bed without suffocating the vents. Apart from that it is just the best laptop ever brought out. No compromises. There is no better laptop. I also don't see any reason anymore for bigger laptops (15/16/17/18 inch), it's a real game changer. Can you imagine this laptop with thunderbolt 5 to connect a geforce 4090 super eGPU ?
Seems like the perfect business traveller laptop... Wow ASUS really changing the game here!
hi can u make video comparison lenovo yoga book 9i vs asus zenbook duo
This is definitely one laptop that I am dreaming of having at max specs. Great video as always🙏🔥
Thanks
This is exactly what I was wanting when I was griping about the possibilities of laptop ergonomics the other day! Would appreciate one with a dedicated graphics card for 3D work
Nice review! How many external monitors can I connect using a Thunderbolt 4 dock + the HDMI out?
Imagine if it can turn 360 and have nvidia Rtx 4 series 🤪
They finally got the dual screen form factor right. This makes sense and comes with the fewest downsides yet
a daytraders dream laptop
Exactly 😁
UK price is too high - we're getting stung yet again by another manufacturer
I'LL GET ONE... CAN'T WAIT FOR IT
This will help me so much with wfh. I honestly can't believe someone didn't do this sooner.
can it like go back and forward like the lenovo one
can this laptop run Cad softwares especially 3D renders,is it good for designers and architects?
This is amazing! I love laptops.
I love lamp
Totally gonna get this for college
I got it yesterday night
Vivobook 15 pro oled N6506 Unboxing
Stupidly large gap between screens that should be able to be slid side by side when flat so there's a barely noticable line linking the screens
I like the fact that you said 65 watts laptop that's what i was searching
👍🏽
I bought a Asus gaming notebook in 2022. Ever since I plugged it in there´s been performance issues. Some games run smoth but most don´t. It has been sent back and forth to Asus but they haven´t solved the problem. I´ve been in forums, testing tweaks, drivers, apps and registries but nothing has fixed it. 3.0000 USD flushed down the toilet. So don´t do the same mistake as me.
1. DO NOT BUY an Asus notebook
2. DO NOT BUY a notebook for gaming - buy a stationary since this is what your notebook will become with monitor, mouse and keyboard and you will save money on this and get better performance.
Actually I prefer this one over the Lenovo 9i. Asus just answered so many of my questions with this product.
Great video!! I'm considering getting one, do you think this could handle heavy lightroom/photoshop? If not any model recommendation for 14-16" laptop that's good for those 2 programs.
Karena Buat yang Fold terlalu ribet layarnya mending sekalian di pisah >.
I have the UX482 and I think that this new format is not designed for travellers: in a plane/train it's probably not very stable.
Great work from Asus. It is a pity that we indians use cheap Chinese electronics in where companies like asus and htc have great smartphone and laptops
OMGOMGOMG 🤩 Asus has now come up with their answer to the Lenovo Yoga Book 9i 😁👍, I am soooo looking forward to this Saf 😍. I'm a Project Manager and God knows there aren't enough screens in front of us to help us manage meetings, chats and deliverables😅, so a dual screen laptop is a God-send spesh when we have to be onsite / in transit. And thanks for linking us the Asus site 👍👍
In Canada it’s $2499 plus 13% tax. Yes I ordered one
I have 2020 zenbook pro duo. And still it is pretty decent.
This one is awesome. ❤
Same here …an amazing machine
That price is insane
Totally worth it
@@SuperSafno
the Lenovo dual screen version from last year is even more insane 😅
I paid $3,000 plus for my 17 Fold and I’m happy!!
@@mrasmarcAsus 17 Fold is inferior to the Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Fold Gen 2 that's due to come out eventually.
Please send me the Asus Zenfone 7 or 9 or any rog phone which is just lying in your collection. They don't launch Zenfones in India
Where is MrBeast when you need him😭😭😭This is honestly a dream laptop ngl😭😭
Just ordered miner, can't wait to get it. I really struggle using just one screen, so this is going to be perfect.
even more in love with zenbook pro duo now. just take my money, asus. TAKE IT! whenever I have some, ofc.
Why couldnt they just make it turn into a tablet. I mean its simple. They just need to change the fold angle limitations.
sharing mode can be control from both side?
You are doing an amazing job Saf 💕👍. Love from India 🇮🇳 ✌️
Thanks Karan
So it has the functionalities of the Samsung fold but actually costs less than it😅
is it powerful enough to play elden ring or game that required high end graphics card?
Why unfolding vertically? That makes no sense.
I would like to know if it is easy to change the ssd on this Asus because i need bigger storage?
Intel CPU. womp womp.
This looks so awesome! Always wanted a dual screen device. Unfortunately though I will not buy Asus again since I have not had device(except an SSD Enclosure) from them that did not break in the first few months. Would love if Lenovo or MSI could do a device like this.
my asus duo has been reliable for the last 3 year. But now the battery need a replacement.
Lenovo has one. It's called the Lenovo Yoga Book 9i. It was the first laptop with 2 full size screens.
@@rm3926 Yeah but I do not think that one enabled both monitors stand up like this. Kind of a flat and forward setup only, which is cool but not good for work use.
No, it has a separate stand which is included with the device. It does the exact same thing but the kickstand is separate. @@kerrybaldino8826
@@kerrybaldino8826 to be fair the Lenovo dual screen version from last year may not have its own kickstand but it does have the included foldable stand (that doubles as the keyboard case). with that the Lenovo version can stand up pretty straight in dual screen mode.
but i gotta hand it to Asus to add a sturdy kickstand for their version (other reviewers say that kickstand is made of metal) AND it still included a foldable laptop stand similar to what Lenovo has.
