Great Father and Son timemaking memories which hopefully Otis will remember forever . Absolutely beautiful scenery and views stunning. Always interesting and informative and entertaining
Sweet father and son time. Tiss will never forget and has learned so much this trip with daddy.I have learned so much through your video. Really awesome to see the bonding..💙🙏🏼
Ah beautiful Erawan , one of my favorite National Parks in Thailand. Watching this vlog brings back many happy memories for me. Tis is such a trooper, love watching him enjoying himself. ❤
25 or so years ago a Canadian couple provided an amazing 1 or 2 day trip around the area. It included time at elephant reserves, boat trips up the river and a raft back down then stops at the waterfall and a train ride along the allied-built track and a walk through the canyons hacked through granite by prisoners of war. It all seems a bit toned down now and less wild but I guess that is the way of things.
Loved watching and enjoying your journey on this trip. Tis is so grown up for his age isn't he. I absolutely love the way he says 'Daddy'. Thanks for sharing.
Yes it is very scenic. camera tech is so amazing these days. I am an old boomer who has no desire to travel anymore...times change. So nice to see the scenery through your camera as my eyes would not see them with such clarity! Good on ya Ryan, great vlogging this trip with Otis. Peace and Love Y'all
I would recommend bringing comfortable walking shoes and not sandals (Put those in your bags). The best way, in your opinion, is to go straight to the seventh waterfall, followed by the others. That way you can beat the crowds there by arriving early, and you’ll also have more energy for the comparatively difficult climb to the seventh waterfall. Most of the walking is in the tree-shade but the difficulty comes from the high humidity and heat (You went at the end of January), so it can nonetheless be quite tiring. Also you may bring drinks and snacks with you or buy them at the entrance to the falls. They only bought a single large water bottle, only to later find that at the falls themselves there’s nowhere to buy food or drinks, and the climb up to the seventh waterfall left us feeling thirsty and peckish as the first waterfall lies about a 20-minute walk from the entrance, and the walk itself is pretty much planar. The first few waterfalls are close to one another, and a few minutes later you’ll arrive at the 2nd, 3rd and 4th falls. The waterfalls themselves are really stunning and I think it’s worth it, at the very least, to make it to the 4th and 5th falls. It was also a great deal of fun to jump in the water after walking in the heat. Thanks for sharing your special story about the Kanchanaburi mountain water falls added with hotels in the lakes with the cafes' too as it's letting me know that you're going to enjoy it again when Hugo is able to join you for an enjoyable day trip.
Fabulous vlog, I've loved every second of the trip. I've been to Thailand many, many times but not seen the Erawan falls, but the whole area just went to the top of my bucket list. Thanks for sharing this special Father and son time 💕
Hi Ryan This would rate as one of your best posts,I live in NZ,which trually is a beautiful country, but Katanabre is up there as well ,some of those waterfalls were spectacular.Great to see how you are recognizing the different stages of life.Recently home from our 5 month winter escape to Thailand, had the choice of Hua Hin or Katanabre,I opted for Hua Hin,but next time will choose Katanabre.Well done
Once again thanks for sharing your time with your son with us. Truly a beautiful area. Looks like they have made the climb to the falls easier and safer. When I was there it was just a path through the forest.
Loved the last two episodes, was there 6 years ago and bright back lovely memories. Unfortunately our bus was involved in an accident on the way back to Kanchanaburi, the driver of the small vehicle unfortunately did not make it, very emotional afternoon.
Ryan you are just to funny! I am cracking up laughing… lil. Tiss is smart just let daddy put his feet in lil Tiss saving his feet! Smart lil dude and that hat is just the cutest on his lil head! He is going to be a special guy when grown!Mo has done an awesome mom job with her lil Tiss!
@lifeinruralthailand thanks for a beautiful vlog Ryan. Kananchaburi is almost certainly at the top of my bucket list of where to go to visit when I next get to Thailand. It's a landscape Photographer's dream, especially when you get silky smooth water and stunning backgrounds reflecting on the water... Paradise for me! Can you help me with the name of that you mentioned? I didn't pick it up in the vlog & couldn't see it in the transcript either. Also, the place you stayed at if you could. Thanks again.
Hey Ryan and Otis, what a beautiful place to go. I will have to remember this place. It's almost primal. I have enjoyed this trip. It makes me thinking that I haven't seen much. You would think after 18 years I would have seen it all.❤
Wow beautiful spot Ryan. I remember a certain Mr. Paddy Doyle staying there on one of his vlogs What a great spot I have to say, and Tis was loving every minute of it. As you said great spot too bring the whole tribe back to in a few years. Been good seeing you two having such a great trip together. Stay safe an enjoy
Beautifully captured trip... very memorable for sure. I hope one day Otis can look back and see how precious this trip was. What camera and what editing app are you using may I ask.
Remembering traveling cross country (USA) with family. Yours are much more calm than mine, but I miss scouting off alone as the older kid solo once we stopped to camp. Thanks Surely, Damo is enjoying Hugo bonding before as a “good for it” boy will soon be away exploring.
You are very lucky… FOC Fish Spa … In Malaysia we pay RM30.00 for 30mins.. the fish will eat your dead cell n your feet will be flawless n very clean… trust me.. Tqvm for bringing us holiday as well… Beautiful scenery!
❤️🙏🏼Wow Ryan absolutely beautiful. Such clear turquoise water. If I never get back to Thailand at least I get to enjoy your fantastic vlogs with Tis. Have a great weekend. 💞💞💋💋
That coffee might have had some mary jane in it,went from 7 to 8 to 9 out of ten. Great vlogs Mate, cant wait to see my son, flying to thailand on Thursday 🙏
Ryan, love the videos as usual. I have a favor to ask. I also live in Buriram, more in the city. My wife and I love Alfie, and we're wondering I'd you could send us info on the breeder so we can get one of his brothers. Thanks in advance.
Nothing against kanjanaburi but the erawan waterfall isnt that great. The river is better. I think Chiang Dao in the rainy season is much more stunning. Just curious though how come ur kid isnt in school?
