Hooked up with one of my Curado 151HG DC. Curado for casting Vanford/Zodias for spinning. Good enough for a budget weekend angler as myself. Great content 👊thx
Received my new Curado casting rod 7'2 MH, no chance to try it in fishing yet but the rod feels pretty awesome for the price. I can tell you that it feels very light and on the stiffer side for a MH rod. Bought on sale for 115$ it's worth the money....I hope! Is the new Zodias 6'10 M suitable for light t-rig and 3/16 football jigs?
I have. I really like the way this rod feels overall. I believe the Zodias has it on weight as far as being lighter, but other than that and the Carbon handle on the Zodias, I can't tell much of a difference. The guides are different, but personally unless you're talking really high end guides, I'm not one to nitpick.
@@davidrauschenbach6871 I just got the 6'10" ML and it can load and cast 1/8 oz pretty accurately. But I'm using an SLX MGL 70 and not a BFS real, so it might be better with a different reel but I don't plan to throw anything lighter than that with this rod anyway.

Right on!
That shop looks cooler than any big box store!
It was. Sadly, it closed due to retirement.

Is a medium heavy be good for cranking
So i have like 7 zodias rods and wondering how the handle length compares to the zodias
I found the rod and handle to be be very similar to the zodias.
Have you put a reel on it to see how it balances out?

So they repackaged the old zodias and added a hook keeper. It's cool that they dropped the price though.
That's exactly what they did.
How heavy is it
I’d put it in the same weight category as the old Eva foam handled zodias. Pretty dang light.
Would look great with one of my K's on it
That it would! Love the Curado K!
Nice!
Perhaps they’ll call me out with a true curado bfs casting rod!
Unfortunately the new Curado rod line doesn’t have a BFS model in it at the moment. You have to step up to the Zodias for that.
They do have one. A 7 ft 2in ML bfs rod.
@@JustinC0219 you’re correct. I just looked back at the models listed. I was initially wrong. Thanks for clearing that up.
@@JustinC0219 Not sure it can load a 1/16 oz lure? Think it is rated for 3/16-3/8ths

Curado new rod 2021 made in indonesia..
Goodjob
Same as the old zodias
I’d have to agree, but the reel seat is way better on this one for sure.
