I wish for low cost tablets they would just completely get rid of the cameras and put that money towards something more useful like a larger battery, or better speakers.
Thought it might be a good tablet to keep in my DJI Phantom's bag as a dedicated device for flying. Unfortunately the brightness is going to be a deal breaker as I need something bright for outdoors.
The nVidia is a no-brainer over this thing in my opinion. $199 vs $129 and you get a shield controller plus nVidia performance/updates/support. Now if only it were ever actually in stock...
lon, just listening to a earlier review involving the amazon echo, because recently i noticed that there is a new device called the echo show in which is supposed to be a intercom but it can also do alot of the tasks that the earlier echo devices do, what i am curious is, is how many tasks can a lot of these echo devices do, like including if the echo show could possibly do that plex skill in the same manner as the echo dot
What are some possible recommendations for Android tablets that would be good to use taking notes and writing documents in college? I prefer them to bringing a laptop, and the one I have used in high school is from 2013.
Most Samsung tablets include their SPen and are great- the Galaxy Tab S3 9.7 just came out for about $600. To save some money, select Chromebooks now support android apps, and an Acer convertible will run about $300- keybaord and touchscreen but stylus might be troublesome. Hope this helps ;)
i used this one for several weeks and was quite happy with it , but now it died 100% ... first deep discharge , with random boot at 1% , but never charged more , now its just dead and it becomes quite hot when connected to a charger ...... well lets see how gearbest will handle this .... unfortunatly this device is all glued together , there are zero screws .... probably very hard to repair ....
One thing I have not seen mentioned here so far is the fact that there is a US version called the RePad 8 available from Amazon. See www.reless.com/ Had I known this I might not have ordered mine from China, for more than one reason......
sheek1982 why the hell would they do that, I just read up on it and they have no real information as to why, and apparently they also block it on devices with unlocked boot loaders. What kind of world do we live in
I think it’s interesting how it’s called an FNF ifive even though it doesn’t have an Intel Core i5 I personally wouldn’t call it I five unless it had A core i5
Raging Ragina in my country they say"one cow is better than 20 goats" think about it I'm not against these chinese product but some of them come with defect and the shipping cost can get you another device, many of them don't even have customer service so add 80+ to get something better is worth every single penny. Not all ipad or samsung are expensive sometimes check ebay or amazon you can get a good deal

Boy I could not agree more....
One day a manufacturer will think 'hold on - if we have 2 usb ports we could charge and use a usb device at the same time! I'm a genius!'

+Ace Report I don't think it has GPS on board either. I use a Nvidia shield k1 tablet for mine works nicely.

You speak fast. I like that.

+Aaron Johnson yes my understanding is that any Amazon Alexa device can do everything the others can do. I have the Show on order!

Hi, I have the tablet, but you can enable the OTG function thanks!!
I bought that tablet, unboxed it and wouldn't connect to Wii-Fi or Bluetooth
Mine wouldn't work out of the box
Can it connect to tv?

can u do a budget 2 in 1 review
I'm very tempted at that price but I bet it doesn't receive regular Updates! Even the Samsung tablet I'm using hardly ever gets them. hmm...
USB OTG support?
For Netflix you neend to sideload that it works
Would you worry about entering your password on this? Is it filled with trojans viruses and rootkits?

Why would you buy from the U.S? RePad here is $150, Ifive direct from China is $90 with free shipping on Gearbest now. It's the same tablet.
WiFi will not stay on
Netflix now blocks ROOTED devices, and will soon stop the app from working on rooted devices that already have Netflix installed.
I heard about that a few days ago, and i think it really sucks, especially for android tv box owners.
sheek1982 from what I was reading you can side load on rooted devices and it will work for the time being

Hahahaha you always look great, shhh.
second
You will never ever have support from these chinese devices,it's better to add a little extra and buy an ipad or samsung tablet
young mouss a little is like 80+
for the same price, you can buy another 3 of these device when it's broken
young mouss I wouldn't recommend buying an iPad
