The fact that she is STILL swooshable with one hand (and some space) despite looking so goddamn unwieldy and being based on a design with no intention of ever being made into ANY toy, let alone a transforming one, is a staggeringly wonderful coincidence.
My personal theory as to why Nemesis was soo good and the Ark was so bad is that Megatron himself designed both figures, making sure that the Nemesis was far superior to the Ark. But why would he want to do this? To subtly give us the idea that the decepticon version of something is better than the autobot counterpart, slowly brainwashing the masses into a new Decepticon army (one that Optimus wouldn't dare hurt). But then that could just be my ramblings, of course. I'm not Sherlock Holmes after all.
One thing I like about the Nemesis is that she looks godd*mn feral. Like she is gonna rip an Autobot limb from limb. The fact that she is so gangly, mixed with her claws, and is incredibly posable just gives off the vibe of a berserker charging into battle ready to destroy whatever poor opposition she encounters. Considering how almost all the other titans have the feeling of slow, powerful movements I think it’s fun to have one that looks like she moves fast. Like a dnd Barbarian who maxed out all her physical stats.
This beats out the Kingdom Ark by miles, I remember seeing her on the Evolution poster believed that she was an upgraded version of Tarn but that was proved not to be the case. Still a cool looking Titan overall!
I originally was going to pass on this, as I don't have a huge amount of space, but after watching you and Emgo review this, I made space and have it ordered. This is truly a thing of beauty, and I much prefer the monstrous design of the robot mode versus the Ark's default robot guy. This is phenomenal.
I'm so hyped for the Decepticon warship turn female Titan, the Nemesis. Love everything about her, except for two things. First, wish the small side wing didn't become axes, as it looks too small for her. Which is a easy fix by not using it as weapons and just leave them on the shoulders. And second, wish the small shoulder side flaps pegged in somewhere instead of hanging off the sides. Sure you can partform them off, but wish it flip up to be alongside the shoulders. But anyways, I love that Hasbro made this Decepticon warship, the Nemesis, and make it transform into a Titan.

Much like the Ark mine will likely never see robot mode, but that ship mode is just so good. You've even got the screw-holes under her bow that you can stick guns in to resemble the fusion cannon she had in Beast Wars. It's amazing how much mode professional she looks next to the Ark. She looks like a huge solid cohesive chunk of plastic, meanwhile the Ark is covered in gaps, hollow bits and fault lines where his shell parts meet like tectonic plates. I'm much too lazy to work it out, but measuring her compared to the mini F-15 (apparently Thundercracker according to the box art) would be able to give us her exact measurements, so that will be fun if someone gets around to doing it. Comparing her to the Beast Wars Nemesis from Season 3 (the Season 2 model looked more like this) I see just how many liberties they took translating the G1 design to Beast Wars in the name of cool and I'd totally be up for a Beast Wars themed retool of this, but as it is she's a really impressive ship and despite paying well over $400 NZD for her (the price of importing massive toys in the current economy) I'm more than happy with her for that ship mode alone. She'll probably take the best of 2023 spot even without ever transforming her.
I like to headcanon she was made before the war and was a good girl but was sleeping when they converted her one day she wakes up only to relize she’s been converted to the a weapon of mass destruction. The Decepticons then instal and internal inhibtor to enslave her into there ranks
I usually find that Hasbro drops the ball with first titans and gets better from there, Metroplex to Typticon was a massive difference just like Devistator to Predaking so makes sense they messed up on the Ark before Perfecting the Nemesis.
I like to think that the red panels at the bottom of the nosecone is a glass floor where megatron can watch chaos unfold after just carpet bombing his enemies from the sky, like some warhammer 40k exterminatus shit
This makes the Ark cooler by simply being amazing on its own. I have both, and though the Ark isnt nearly as good as this, having both ships is neat for display.

Of course I was stupid and got Trypticon to be the Nemesis to my Ark, so now my Parity Autism requires I get ANOTHER Autobot Titan. I'm thinking it will be the Omega Sentinel redeco of Omega Supreme, so I have one Titan "Base-former" and one Titan "Ship-former" for the main factions.
I did ask some of the hasbro designers on Instagram not long after the reveal about the relation to the Greek goddess nemesis and they said it was just a coincidence that they made this a fembot.

I watched this vid because sadly my ark's right shoulder completely broke and is loosey goosey now (despite having disassembled BOTH shoulders and having sanded down BOTH ratchets, TWICE, over TWO DAYS) and theres a nemesis in the toystore near me. Thank you for convincing me that she is worthy of a purchase
She is far better than the ark. So much more cooler looking, so much more poseable, such a better transformation, and she doesn't look like she's just wearing the ship mode. I think you will love it.

Titan Ark looks like a toddler's toy robot when it really shouldn't cause the G1 Ark was 39 years ago and the Autobot Ark never looked like that after G1. And no kid is going to get any of the references. Titan Nemesis is very Gundam thanks to her IDW style and face. I can see her as a freak Gundam design. I love the robot mode. And her proportions manage to be really feminine without looking too human. Nothing to say about the alt mode. Really good stuff, but I wish the Ark was good, I have no reason to ever buy this until they release a better Titan Ark. My dad hates Generations Sandstorm for some reason. And this is a problem cause I don't have a credit card, I pay through some e-money stuff that I exchange cash for with my dad. I just have to hope I see cheap listings of it when the Legacy G1 Sandstorm comes out.

I love this titan so much! Not only did whoosh her around when I got her out of the box, but one of the first pictures I took was her Trypticon and Scorpionock beating up the ark...mostly because I dont have any other autobot titans.

I feel you on the upgrade kit remark at the end. I like 'em as much as the next guy but, being dead honest, they don't make sense for non-mamalian, and especially robotic, species. They're not just for appeal, they serve an actual purpose and that's why they're there.
I feel like with those flaps on the shoulders they should have done a double hinge joint to tab into the main shoulders if anything to keep them out of the way without taking them off

this might be my first titan when I get around to this year, I like the color purple and the effort of all the play patterns (A.I.R. lock ramps, gun turrets, blast effect ports and it being able to fold it bottom wing for landing) I honestly left wondering on how Hasbro can even top itself for the next titan

I really want to get both the Ark and Nemesis as cool centerpieces to a big display. My only problem right now is space. As a minor sharing a room, I'm working with what I got here. I might have to sell off my only titan Scorponok just to fit even one of them into my collection. This looks fantastic though, I don't know that I can pass this beauty up.

In the film, whilst we don't get a good scale comparison, when stratosphere is sitting whilst the crew mourns the loss of Bumblebee in the village, you can see that Prime comes up to his knee in scale, just like other titan classes. I even saw Hasbro mention they'd love to do a titan ROTB Stratosphere in studio series during the recent Q&A.
I'm really pleased with Nemesis. She really needs some proper weapons though. The shin guns and flags are weak. Hopefully an upgrade kit will take care of it.
So what they are saying is EVERYTHING on and including Cybertron was a robot in disguise (cities and vehicles included) and to be a Titan or larger the more sloth-like the better.
Hopefully we can get an upgrade kit that has the tractor beam/garbage disposal grinder thing from Beast Wars. It would make for a sick diorama setup for the Nemesis and Ark!

I love this titan so much! Not only did whoosh her around when I got her out of the box, but one of the first pictures I took was her Trypticon and Scorpionock beating up the ark...mostly because I dont have any other autobot titans.

When you mentioned that her guns look like Halo guns, I can kinda see it! The Brute shotgun with the spikes. I forgot what they are called but I can totally see the silhouette of it!

I feel you on the upgrade kit remark at the end. I like 'em as much as the next guy but, being dead honest, they don't make sense for non-mamalian, and especially robotic, species. They're not just for appeal, they serve an actual purpose and that's why they're there.

I feel like with those flaps on the shoulders they should have done a double hinge joint to tab into the main shoulders if anything to keep them out of the way without taking them off

this might be my first titan when I get around to this year, I like the color purple and the effort of all the play patterns (A.I.R. lock ramps, gun turrets, blast effect ports and it being able to fold it bottom wing for landing) I honestly left wondering on how Hasbro can even top itself for the next titan

5:35 me personally I see these as heating vents so the ship can cool it’s insane fuel cells when I imagine they open they make a hissing sound as cold air rushes in to cool the ship’s systems and power core

I really want to get both the Ark and Nemesis as cool centerpieces to a big display. My only problem right now is space. As a minor sharing a room, I'm working with what I got here. I might have to sell off my only titan Scorponok just to fit even one of them into my collection.

In the film, whilst we don't get a good scale comparison, when stratosphere is sitting whilst the crew mourns the loss of Bumblebee in the village, you can see that Prime comes up to his knee in scale, just like other titan classes. I even saw Hasbro mention they'd love to do a titan ROTB Stratosphere in studio series during the recent Q&A.
I'm really pleased with Nemesis. She really needs some proper weapons though. The shin guns and flags are weak. Hopefully an upgrade kit will take care of it.

I think she probably doesn't have much of one. More like a Feral monster that just goes Animal enemies.
So what they are saying is EVERYTHING on and including Cybertron was a robot in disguise (cities and vehicles included) and to be a Titan or larger the more sloth-like the better.
Hopefully we can get an upgrade kit that has the tractor beam/garbage disposal grinder thing from Beast Wars. It would make for a sick diorama setup for the Nemesis and Ark!
