      You’re welcome. You can also detach the pages, then tape them together again leaving a quarter inch gap, this will allow more room to add extra ephemera. 🌿🦋

    Just found this channel. I’m inspired to make one of these, Tyft. I’m going to use the clear separator pages between my lidocaine medical patches. The glue dries clear and it’s very strong. Hopefully it will be long lasting.
    My husband collects coins and gun memorabilia, so your guy journal is a good gift hint.

    Old calendar pages make excellent beads too. Paper is generally heavier and heavily coated.

    I've got that vintage paper pad. It was the first one I bought when I started this jj'ing last year. Never knew what to do with it as it was too thick for journaling pages. Now I know what to do with it 😉 Tyfs

    I'm so glad that I came across your channel. This is amazing!! I've been keeping my ephemera in small tins. This makes so much more sense; this is beautiful and in keeping with the craft ❤️
    I don't have vellum, but I'm going to try with the plastic from cereal bags. I also have so much, I think I'll make several of these and categorize by: vintage, boho, nature, and Christmas. What a fantastic idea! Thank you!! Also, new subscriber now 🙋🏻‍♀️🥰

      Hi Brandi, here’s the link to the video to help us build a journal. It needs fabric or paper for the soft cover and cereal box packaging or similar thick card stock, 24 sheets of dyed paper 8 x and 12 dyed paper strips cut to 1” wide. Make a Junk Journal.       Hi C . Great comment. You can make one without Junk Mail, try magazine cover maybe? Or cereal or cracker box packaging or thick paper or thick card. Tape the panels together and decorate with wrapping paper or brown parcel paper. Layered papers can create a thicker piece. Have fun, Thanks for watching 🌈🌿🦋

      Just don’t be limited, find an other way around the problem there is on right way of doing it and there are no rules in junk journaling. Enjoy the process 🌸🦋

      @@user-on7zd8yi8g not sure about where you live but here folks tend to pitch their junk mail right at the post office, take a look inside on the counters and such for treasures.
      Tuesdays here after Monday holidays a goodly bit shows up.
      All kinds of this packaging boxes will work.
      Pasta, puzzles, pickling salt, you'll get ideas.
      Meanwhile enjoy the process.
