I’m gonna definitely make one of these if not several. I am so tired of the “seek and ye shall find” scenario. Organization makes things so much easier and enjoyable once it is all done. Your videos soothe after a day full of law school. Thank you 🙏
Three words: FA-BU-LOUS!!! A custom place for ephemera! And how much do I love vellum??? Thank you so much. An answer to my paper creation prayer. Guess who is making one...yes, that would be me!!! Superb tutorial...I love all your tutorials and TFS.
This is the most helpful vid I've seen yet. A "BIG" thank you for doing this. And also showing how we can glue & sew it by hand was an eye opener! I am going to try & make one now! 👍🌈🙏💜💙💛🙏🌈
You have inspired me! I had caffeine way too late today so I was watching you instead of sleeping. I just got out of bed at 12:30 am and made the cover for my ephemera book. Thanks!!
Love, love, love mine. I used baking paper. Roughed the edges with on of those disposable finger nail files. Excellent tip! Thank you! Now to make the larger pocket one.
Something who does scrapping, this is truly amazing. Thank you for sharing Charlotte. I’ve been very unwell since November. I’ve not been able to do anything. I write names, example:Charlotte does not like bright yellow. 😂 and then, I put the project 1. Ephemera 2. She is so kind 3. Creates the best hard or fabric covered journals. 4. She truly has been blessed when it comes to her work. 5. I’ve been very unwell however, in November. Charlotte is comforting and allows for me to create much. Eventually. God Willing, I believe a wonderful blessings awaits me. I have learned so many things. God bless Charlotte and friends 🦋
Make your ephemera storage book bigger or youll be making another one soon! A three ring binder with clear plastic, pages with pockets or heavy weight page protectors for finished pages to go in your journal. You can slide in decorative papers on the exterior of covers. I made mine in a very short time, its sturdy and holds a lot of ephemera.🌞👍
Another Great Video, I found the answer to the question I asked in one of our other Video. I just love it when you ask us what do we think, its so funny like you can hear us but yet we are all telling you what we think. Now on to another video. Loving your work
Thank you for this video. I had 4" x 6" mini file folders that i did not know what to do with. I have made several of these now. I also have several hunkydory little books which are the perfect size for the front and back covers. Again thank you for the inspiration. It is much appreciated.
Hello, You sound like me. I bought some red files folders way back then when my mind was definitely not in the right place. Now I know how to get rid of them.😊
I am so glad I found this as I have wondered how you ladies made them. This on my to do list as it will be so easy to find all the small stuff........ I made your tags last night and I love them. I made 3 in ready for my Alice in wonderland journal. Thank you Eve. xxxx
I have been searching everywhere for this video. I've been using Ziploc bags for ephemera. I was thinking... wouldn't tracing paper work as well?? I'll try that and see. Thank you so much Ms E.!! I also ...will be using papers from an outdated wall paper decor sampler I got from the paint store. A heavier paper for the covers.
Would love to know what size needle and thread you use to sew the pages together. I love all your work. I what your challenges everyday. I am 68 years old and have just started this craft. You are great company. Thank you.
I love this. it's perfect to store your small pieces. It's totally what any one of us needs to stay organized with our small pieces of ephemera. Thanks. For myself. I prefer the edges folded over. It just gives a neater finished edge !!!
Love this video-I've seen you use this in more recent videos and I kept thinking where is the video to make that super gorgeous stamp/label/effemera folder?!! I'm going to make one next! So handy and organized and beautiful! Much prettier than the little baggies I'm using that I keep misplacing!😄 Thank you!
I love all of your shows and Christmas is my fav time of the year i love learning from you i have tried some of your crafts you do a wonderful job keep up the good work and may God Bless you
Miss E this is a super great idea, I have so much emphemra in so many containers this would be so much better and I would be able to see what I have.TYSMFS 👍🏾❤😘🦋

Dear Edith- I love your videos and hope you are healing more and more everyday with the love and support of your family and your online community. I know personally how art is healing in my ways. I wished to ask you a question.: it is hard to see from the video due to the brightness of the white cardstock and vellum whether you also stitched the bottom of each vellum pocket and not just the edges of each page. I have been searching online for a week now for a good ephemera storage holder. Thank you once again. Yours kindly Janis Lynn Franko
Love this and need to make because I’ve tried to find and old stamp book to use but they are very hard to come by, at least in my area so thank you for the great project TFS
Just got around to sitting down to watch this. I love this little ephemera book! It will be just the size for my granddaughter to carry along to scrapbook conventions. Thank you, E!
It's quite lovely! I actually made a 6" x 6" book for stamps and tiny ephemera just last week. It was driving me crazy with them in larger ephemera folios. I've loosely sorted my stamps by color. Thanks for sharing!
Love love this. Gonna make one, I have stamps that a lady gave me from 1935 and up they have been used someone collected stamps and she got them from a estate sale or auction. Some of them had Cullman, Al stamped on them.
Aileen Nichols The stamps could be valuable, worth getting them assessed. Perhaps you good copy them for using in crafting , use reposition-able tape to temporarily build a master board you can keep copying from.
Thank you for this video! I love making practical/useful items. Could you tell me what stitch you used on the outside edges of the journal? Is it an overlock stitch? Thank you!
I am so glad you shared how you made these journals for organizing ephemera. Thank you.❤
Well this was 4 years ago you made this and I think it's fantastic. I am going to make one. Hope you arrived home safely. ❤❤❤
I really like this ephemera journal to store small ephemera!
prayers to you and your family.
So pretty, I'm going to rewatch this video, so I can study it better.
Making another one, thanks mrsE xx

Do you have a link for the vellum you use? If you could attach it or say what type/weight/brand you use, that would be great. Thanks!
I have the same question. I am waiting for my vellum order to arrive from Amazon today. I’m hoping it will be sturdy enough.
😋bling always adds that special touch
Love it ... Thanks for the idea.
thanks for this tutorial. I am fairly new and drowning in little bits and bobs.
Thank you for sharing☺️☺️☺️🎄🎄🎄

Thank you for this video! I love making practical/useful items. Could you tell me what stitch you used on the outside edges of the journal? Is it an overlock stitch? Thank you!
Love love love I have been looking for a small ephemera holder thank you.
Miss E, I love the first one and this little one complement the other. I started doing my large one, having so much fun.
I tried looking for your freebie this Friday and I think you said you would have it soon...
Would to get it to try it.
Thank you ❤
They are up now.
Hey! I like this piece.
Will tracing paper work instead of vellum for the pocket????
This is such a great idea
These are a great idea, I'll have to make mine from card as I have no file folders,
I wonder if cereal liner bags cut into strips would work just as well as the vellum, maybe even more sturdy, and it's free.
Haha, great minds think alike. I started saving my cereal box liners to try on this project. I ordered vellum too. We’ll see which works best!
Same here, I also started making my own vellum paper with candle wax. Check out some diy here on u-tube
Rewatching, 😂 still haven't gotten around to making it yet.
This is great! I made one similar but I like your version better. I see a re-do in my future. 😉
Great idea.
Nice organizer
Did you do a video on the making if your larger journal?
This journal is awesome! I really need to do something like this. TFS!
Beautiful love it!
