Some of the elders of Israel came to me and sat down in front of me. Then the word of the Lord came to me: “Son of man, these men have set up idols in their hearts and put wicked stumbling blocks before their faces. Should I let them inquire of me at all? Therefore speak to them and tell them, ‘This is what the Sovereign Lord says: When any of the Israelites set up idols in their hearts and put a wicked stumbling block before their faces and then go to a prophet, I the Lord will answer them myself in keeping with their great idolatry. I will do this to recapture the hearts of the people of Israel, who have all deserted me for their idols.’
“Therefore say to the people of Israel, ‘This is what the Sovereign Lord says: Repent! Turn from your idols and renounce all your detestable practices!

Pray for me brothers and sisters to remove the idols I have allowed to creep in, let Jesus truly rule in my heart and my life, and pick up my cross daily and follow after the lord Jesus Christ and him alone.
Amen O Lord! Teaching n preaching "as a dying man to a dying man" (me) and to a nation such as ours that the Lord Himself allowed to carry the Scriptures worldwide....Forgive us O Lord, bring us to our knees in sackcloth n ashes...Thank you O Lord for your mercy and grace to us...ignite us again to meet the demands of these last moments to be used to the called. You Our God are at the very door, and we daily, moment by moment look up...for our Redemption draweth nigh. Thank you O Lord for those of your faithful servants who preach Truth, sounding the alarm/clarion the coming judgments to this nation...who stand in pulpits preaching the meat of the Gospel, keep their doors of communication open. Strengthen this man O Lord in his faithful stance before you, by the Word and Spirit of the Lord. amen

Idolatry, one of those “acceptable” sins. We must be very careful. Ministry itself can be an idol. Covetousness falls in this category. So rampant in America. David Wilkerson has a sermon :”good things that keep people out of heaven” that touches on this.
Thank you Pastor Steve. May God help us as believers to regularly examine ourselves, be open to the conviction of the Holy Spirit, confess and repent of our sins, so that we may live holy and pure lives for the sake of Jesus Christ, Amen. From Angeline in Uganda.

Such teaching!! Such instruction in the Word!! Dr / Pastor / Brother Lawson's preaching comes from God's Spirit of Instruction. Listening to the words quickens the heart. Yes indeed it is convicting. I need convicting! Thank you Lord!

As of june 27 2022 there are no church buildings in my city in California that are preaching the whole council of God. Its gone. So i am praying
Y’all I am realizing that I am probably a false convert. I grew up in the church and thought I was secure by “rededicating my life to Christ” a couple of years ago but there was no humbling of self and repentance. But just pharisaical striving to do/be better. I’ve heard the gospel so many times and my heart is hard toward Godly sorrow & repentance/faith in Christ unto salvation but that’s the very thing I need!! Is there any hope??
I was afraid that Facebook was becoming an idol so I decided to give it up for Lent even though I'm not Catholic. I pray for God to reveal any others. I want non!I pray that responding here isn't one but if it is then this will be my last comment.
Does "American Idol" promote idolatry?
Instagram is a big problem for me. I want to give it up and remove it from my life.
