My favorite is the Shadow Mosuras. My goal for this year is to have a tank full of them. Lost all of them during the summer and I am trying one more time.
Hello! I'm in the process of cycling my second tank and wanted to do a mixed taiwan bee tank after seeing your videos haha. However this is the first time I've seen you put the blues and reds in the same tank. What kind of shrimp are those orange/pinkish shrimp? They look like red bolt/steels, but I thought those weren't taiwan bees :o? I'm not sure which taiwan bees to start with to get a good gene pool/ color contrast. What kind of shrimps are in the tank in this video?
Red bolt is a taiwan bee, the same as how blue bolt is a taiwan bee. 😊 You can put any Taiwan be used together. Those are various grades of Red bolts.. Actually the red bolts colour would look a lot better if I used a darker brown soil instead of a light brown soil. You can keep any together it’s just a matter of preference. And in this tank I have many of the variety of Taiwan be that I mentioned earlier in the video
@@ShrimpLife I really appreciate the lightning fast response haha. Thanks for all the high quality shrimp videos! You have some of the coolest shrimp pics on your Instagram.
Do you ever have problems with detritus worms I found a couple crawling in my tank and I don’t know what to do help! I also have a pregnant blue dream shrimp that I am worried will be affect by them, should I be worried. I also love your channel and your amazing :)
Thanks! :) I do have detritus worms in a lot of my tanks, not too many though they are not harmful to Shrimp if you noticed that they are breeding like crazy then maybe try cutting back feeding and make sure you remove uneaten food
1) mosura are not true taiwan bees. 2) you made the listing of types too confusing. You are describing patterns more than types. Taiwan Bees = King kongs, and bolts. Either red or black. Thats it ;) Pandas, Extremes, etc. all fall within the King Kong grouping.
What I meant by water changes that I have so many tanks, and I do Water changes every week to stimulate Breeding and keep my shrimp active. That’s what a lot of breeders do. I don’t overfeed, and I have stable tanks. Also depends on how many shrimp you have in your tank, snails, and the size of the tank there are too many variables to determine that doing a water change 1 to 2 times a month is enough. (In my case its not enough for optimal health, growth, breeding etc)

Hmm,..... Why the automatic subtitle only available with Vietnam, not English, for this video 🤔 ?
I have no idea i’ll have to look into that!
@@ShrimpLife ooh thanks for your attention 🙂
Hi Lodi. is it okay to use tap water and mix with RO water?
What are you trying to accomplish? Its not advisable to reach your parameters that way, As it can cause instability

My goal is to simply grow my colony. And change the substrate. But reeee I'm terrified I'm going to kill my shrimp if I do this.

Don't overfeed and you wont need much water changes. Just keep a stable tank with lots of plants and you only need 1 or 2 water changes per month.
