@@nitram1716 I'm not developer of the game, but the game does have that! During one of the songs (western themed), I noticed it shrinks during the bombs section
this game is so fun would not call it a rhythm game though yes, there are some tap notes sometimes but it's not the main focus and those are used sparingly so I would not call it a rhythm game it's a music based bullet heaven (cuz you catch the blocks) & bullet hell (cuz you dodge the mines) hybrid
I agree, it's really fun! I'd argue it's a mix of all of it! Tap notes, outer circles you tap on, and the notes you flick the side of the paddle into are all mapped with the music. The only thing that you don't directly do input into are those normal notes that you just catch with (the paddle?) I played some custom levels and a lot of them are mapped in a way that you react to the music. It just wouldn't be a good game if the gameplay wasn't made around the music. If it were just visuals, it would probably be more labeled as a "music bullet hell" or something of the sorts, similar to how a lot of people say Geometry Dash is a "music platformer" (though, that's argued as a rhythm game sometimes because the mapping a lot of the time is to the music, however, I notice it more to the visuals). I really feel like a twitter user typing out all of this, but I did the work so here we are 😂
@@LunauticalDevI feel like although it is definitely music based, a lot of it just isn't rhythmic enough to classify as a rhythm game for me bcuz you aren't really supposed to classify based on the custom levels, you base it on the base game's built-in levels and tap notes/tap circles just aren't utilised enough for it to feel like a rhythm game to me and they don't feel like the main focus slide notes are kinda rhythmic but not enough for it to feel truly like a rhythm game to me and again, they don't feel like the main focus I don't play this for it being a rhythm game, I play it as a music based bullet heaven that may occasionally throw in a small amount of rhythm but mostly just music based bullet heaven the main focus isn't the rhythm so it doesn't feel or play like a rhythm game to me
