    Last tip was the most important one. I always get mad and have no fun learning combos, but I'm okay with just playing low level and learning slowly. So less lab time, more fun time playing the game :)

      I think more time playing the game less lab time is actually pretty optimal for newer players, so that's a win win

      I like this, so many people have told me to either just "ged gud" for wanting to get better but feel frustrated for losing so much with someone x amount better than i am or im just a filthy casual that should be in scrub quote for wanting to enjoy the game as well. Theres too much emphasis in the fgc in badgering newbies how they should play that in itself feels gatekeepy tbh. I still struggle to find enjoyment in the game, but i want to find it, i think i should focus less about improving as well and just make it more natural and enjoyable first for me like what the video says rather than "getting gud".

    8:45 I agree, being consistent is much more important than doing the most optimal combo. My friends asked me how I am consistent w combos and knockdown situations and I always say something pretty similar to what you said. Use mission mode to get and ideia of your character combo theory, tweak the combos so you can do it consistently and go work on confirming of you blockstrings and your meatys
    While I do this stuff they’re grinding the most optimal confirms all day and ignoring the rest of the game

    Great tips and tricks, always forget that Moon Drive gives you armor.

    Amazing tips, even the ones that sound kind of obvious. Thank, man ❤️
    So far, I've been having a blast just labbing and playing single player to unlock stuff and get used to how it feels.

    Hey man! I just started playing fighting games seriously and this is the game I'm gonna dedicate my time to. Will be watching a lot of your videos, since I decided to main Saber as well. Any tips for a complete newbie?

      Glad to hear. Hmm I think I'ma make a video on this, but take your time and have fun! Try to question/understand everything, even if not directly related to the character you play.

    By far the hardest thing for me so far (coming from Strive as my first real FG) is having to hold forward while hitting the dash macro. Makes movement feel more stiff somehow to me, and I screw it up all the time.

    • @Diaphone

      Yea it took me forever to get used to lol!

    For me looking at the game movement is going to be the hardest thing for me to learn

    So when moon gage is active, does every move have armor? Or only your moon skill moves?

    • @Diaphone
      @Diaphone  3 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Only moon skill moves

    @Diaphone Any Miyako tips? I was looking for combo guides... but they just show the combos in motion... they don't tell the buttons or routes, I would love some tips and tricks she is my fav so far.

    • @Diaphone
      @Diaphone  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Watch high level Miyako's and copy some of the stuff they do. I recommend TempestNYC - very strong player.

      @@Diaphone Some of it seems ok but like idk how to stop the auto combo at all... and opening people up who just block forever gets me pretty stuck... or people like Kouma who are armored as hell.

      ty for the content. The last fighting game i played was like Blazblue CT. Im basically a dinosaur now, but these videos have reminded me how fun it is to learn a fighting game. The visual novel remake pushed me over the edge and now this i like my main game
