Been checking out tier list videos and I really liked yours, it was really nice to hear your earnest enthusiasm for the series. :) DDS1 truly is one of the greats!
Yo, new SMT player here and just picked up P4G a couple weeks ago, you can go back and fight new bosses in the boss rooms which allows you to obtain upgraded items for the corresponding characters (who generally occupy the boss room originally). Not sure if this is what you are referring to but trying to be objective as a newbie who has only payed 2.5 games so far haha.
No way! Yeah I just looked it up and I should have done more research😅 I just remember when I played golden after the OG I was annoyed when I went back and couldn’t find them. I must have done something and missed them. Thanks for letting me know!
@@JustHistory_Guy There is literally 0 indicator that they are there visually after beating the boss shadow too. I just happened to revisit the 2nd dungeon and walk to the end of the stage and was surprised to discover a nice weapon for the corresponding character haha.
Ive been on an only smt and persona binge for 6 months as i usually do every other year lol.. i mostly agree with all this.. only thing is ya keep going on combat changing or the combat was real good in smt 5.. but bro. you do realize the combat system is literally the same in just about every mainline smt and persona game right? lol like literally the exact same with the only difference being p3-5 having all out attacks. and being able to use guns in p5.
Thank you & yeah I do. There was just something about SMT V that just felt better to me(probably a personal taste thing) but I just played the game at the perfect time for me! They also did add a couple mechanics that just made the pace feel smoother to me
