My husband proposed to me at the Wildcatter Ranch and then we spent two days of our honeymoon in Graham just 4 months later. We've been back several times for anniversaries and day trips. Lots of sweet memories for us!
I was born and raised here from birth to 18 years of age, i left right aftee graduation and have been to 15 countries and 41 states since, now living in Asia, and I am the only person of my entire friend group who left there and got out in the world, interesting to see an episode on it, heart warming if you will. Ive only been there once in the past 7 years.
I had a co worker of African decent living in Graham with me....even at the supermarket we would get odd looks & folks always asking where we came from
Possum Kingdom Lake: where my dad locked his keys in the car during a camping trip with his buddies and my mom had to drive him back out there from west Texas to unlock his car. How I spent the day before 1st grade. She was so mad 🤣
It just couldn't make it. It can be hard to have a high cost business in a small town and unless you want to staff a bunch of high school kids it is hard to keep wait staff.
I'm from Graham. The owner got into trouble for being very sexually inappropriate with an underage employee. Another young female employee told a similar story about what he did to her. It was in their news paper.
I lived in Graham for 8 months during 2020 to 2021....cute town but full of racist people ....I did visit Brothers BBQ and felt unwelcome instantly upon sitting down
