    I absolutely love Beef Bulgogi. There is a local restaurant here called The Bulgogi House, simply awesome. Never thought of cooking it on my own. Until now. Thanks Chef Tom!!

    So obviously the chef’s reaction to something he made is always gonna be good on the video but you can’t fake that reaction. When I see that reaction from Tom, I tell myself that I definitely need to make this one…..

    Korean male who has been making Kalbi and bulgogi for over 20+ years, this is a good recipe. Won’t share all my tweaks but the basics are correct. Main difference is the amount of time you allow all the enzymes to work into the protein. Cheers.

    what would you use for a substitution for the Korean pear?

    • @maverick27502
      @maverick27502 2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      A regular pear w/ half a kiwi or pineapple juice works as well if you cannot find Korean pears. Amounts vary depending on recipe

      I’m wondering the same thing. I don’t see why not.

    • @alxd21
      @alxd21 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      The korean pears have a special enzyme that tenderises the meat. The closest thing you can use that is easier to find would be kiwis
