I appreciate very much how Aaron always goes out of his way to tell us that it's okay if we don't have the exact ingredients he has. A lot of TH-cam cooking channels just kinda tell you "You HAVE to use THIS and ONLY THIS or it's WRONG." Maybe not directly, but the way they act is like that. But Aaron, nah, he's like "Don't have this? Don't worry about it! Use what you have, it will be awesome!" Idk, I just like that he says this.
When I woke up early this morning I was thinking of having bulgogi for dinner tonight and when I turned on my computer the first thing I saw was your beef bulgogi recipe! I had always been a fan of your quick and easy Korean recipes. Greetings from Tasmania, Australia!
Mom! what are we having for dinner tonight? Don't worry about it! Aaron just posted something DELICIOUS ! Doing the happy dance 💃 ❤🎉 (like Claire does)
Even if you don't want to make the recipes these videos are refreshing to watch. Aaron and Claire are so fun and have a positive attitude... something we really need to fill our day with.
This recipe looks so good😊 I can't wait to make it I just hope I can find the ingredients for it and please tell Claire she doesn't need to lose weight she's perfect just the way she is Claires all good she doesn't need to change unless she wants to
Still hasn’t watched this one. But a great fan of your channel Specially like the beef recipes Beef bulgogi is my current favourite. I now only eat beef bulgogi not beef curry. Love from Bangladesh.
We have made this acouple of time now for main meals, once with 80/20 minced beef and once with sliced pork shoulder both where great. I went this route mainly for the costs, beef steaks of questionable quality and flavour are 2- 3 times the cost locally of reasonable quality minced beef and pork shoulder offers the best per kilo value with good flavour and texture. I appreciate it a great deal that Aaron always goes out of his way to tell us that it's okay if we don't have the exact ingredients he has used and offers suggestions to alternatives that are practical for everyone. Thank you very much for doing this Aaron. One change/addition i made was to add stir fried frozen mixed vegetables to up the vegetable content while reducing the amount of meat. for 500g assorted frozen vegetables [half of a 1kg bag] we used 3 table spoons low-sodium soy sauce, 1 tablespoon oyster sauce, 2 tablespoon ginger/garlic paste, 1 tablespoon sesame oil, 2 tablespoons rice vinegar, 1 teaspoon korean red pepper flakes, pinch of MSG, 3 tablespoons sunflower oil for stirfry, 125g portion size. Next time i plan to use a blend of long grain rice, 2 parts basmati to 1 part jasmin rice this is mainly for cost, the cheapest Japonica Rice Short Grain Rice from Vietnam is still more than double the cost of basmati and jasmin rice even when buying 10kg sacks. I normally use the Japonica Rice Short Grain Rice for when making sushi, I used it this time as i like to follow the original recipe as closely as practical, before adapting it for what boils down to costs. Thank you for this recipe Aaron, take care, God bless one and all.
I was walking in the Asian section of the grocery store and noticed Gochujang, I have never seen this in the States before, moreover with some additional Korean condiments. I bought it, I love beef bulgogi and other Korean dishes, and since I just found this channel I ordered the book. I have fond memories of my time in Korea including the friends I made with my fellow Korean soldiers with whom I served.
Whenever I visit your channel I know, invariably, next up is a visit to the supermarket. And Aaron and sidekick Claire are 'still' the funniest Koreans out there. Take note, DENNIS! 😁
Yay! Another meal prep! I am getting ready to make several different types of meal preps because spring is here and off to the garden I go. This is the time of year I either start to prep or grill. I would like you and Clair to know that I have started to add Gochujang to my chili con carne and my BBQ sauce. As Clair would say "So good!"😁
So glad you've done a recipe book. Is a shame that it is currently double the price in the UK compared to the US (£29.68 vs. £14.45), so will have to wait till they're a bit more comparable!
Tried. Reduced for 500g beef mince. I think perhaps the Mirin does not work for me. It provides a kind of umami sweetness, that distracts. Will try again with rice wine, or perhaps lemon. I marinated the mince but would likely not next time, and add sauce after mince has browned. But nice to experiment, and a good video that inspired me to cook.
You can keep them in the fridge for up to 3 days and in the freezer for a few months. And you can simply microwave them when you reheat them. Hope you enjoy it! 😁 For more details or a list of ingredients, please check this out. aaronandclaire.com/gochujang-beef-bulgogi-meal-prep-recipe/#google_vignette
What's this, Claire wants to lose weight? Claire, you are so slim & trim, I can't imagine where you want to lose it from. Maybe your feet, we've never seen them😂. Those meals looked great & only 630 calories! Have a great weekend guys ❤
I live in a crappy town in England where you cant find exotic ingredients, but i managed to find dome gochujange paste today🎉 and came straight to TH-cam to find some recipes and came upon your channel this looks soo delicious i want to make it but cannot find any of the chilli flakes or mirin what can i substitute with ? Please i really want to make this 😭
I don't know about the chili flakes (I'm hoping maybe a smaller amount of red pepper flakes?), but mirin is a sweet rice wine, so you could probably use any sweet wine in a pinch. When I was a kid and wanted to try making some Japanese food, the recipe I used said to use apple juice if you couldn't get mirin! I don't know if that was the right choice, but it tasted fine to 12 year old me 😂
Claire doesn't need to loss weight she is beautiful just the way she is. Now for myself, yes I need to loss weight around 60lbs. Aaron and Claire love your videos so so much. Sending you both and your fur baby lots of love from USA Berea Kentucky.
Thanks Aaron for this recipe. I just ordered another cookbook because my nephew wanted the one I had. Also please tell Clare that she looks great.. I cannot see any fat on her at all. Thanks again.
How do you make chicken breast? For me it tastes quite good, but only if you eat it fresh. When I microwave my other portions later or the next day it tastes like shit. and I mean really like shit. it tastes like it was marinated in toilet water. quite a strange disgusting taste. do you have any tips?
Sorry Claire If you're gaining weight, you can't blame your husband. Everything he makes is very healthy. Here's what I'm going to tell you. If You eat too much , you'll gain weight. End of story.

Hello from Northern Ireland!
Hi Susan! 😍
Love you and Claire from Austin, Tx! Your Cookbook is propped up in my kitchen for every one to see and we use it often!
I'm so glad to hear that! You're the best Susie! 👍😍😍😍
I have made this several times and love it so much. I even use this marinade recipe to marinade thin steaks that I grill for lettuce wraps. Wonderful.
😩 I love you guys. This was a great one and can’t wait to do this myself

Would you also marinate the minced meat?
The two most precious people on TH-cam ❤❤
Aaron, only 3 days in the refrigerator?
I cooked mine on Sunday so I could eat Monday-Friday for dinner. (I added 1 egg roll to each.) great video
This looks so good and like something i can make! Where are the aluminum trays from? Where you rested the vegetables
Thanks for sharing, yes for a change cook beef , instead of always pork and chicken.
I hope you do more meal prep videos. It's way easier for me to eat healthy that way and I need more of your amazing recipes for that :)
Claire is hilarious! Where’s the Kimchi!!!😂 Agreed👏🏻
Looks gorgeous. What meal prep containers do you use?
Made it with ground beef. Next time will make it with slices beef and marinade overnight. Yum!
What wok do you use? Looking to get a similar one.
Thank you for this video! I plan to make this dish.

I want to try this!! How long can you store the meal prepped food in the fridge? Or does it work in the freezer too?

Ribeye or tenderloin works great for bulgogi!
