      I’ve just upgraded from the iPhone XS to a 14 pro max. It arrived yesterday and in the first 24 hours of owning the 14 pro max I can tell you you won’t be disappointed, the camera is night and day compared to the X/XS the quality of the photos are amazing, the amount of light and colours it captures will amaze you. Would recommend 256 GB and upwards of storage of storage for the ProRAW photos/videos as they are bigger than the usual photo file size, but they use the 48megapixel lenses so it is worth it. Hope you enjoy your phone when/if it’s arrived or ready :).

    Thank you for the helpful tips! Question I purchased all 3 of the items you mention in the video, the case, battery pack & freestanding charger from Amazon. However none worked! First the wire that was provided in the battery pack didn’t have the plug plus the wire itself does not fit into my iPhone 14 Pro Max to charge it. I watched the video from the company and all they showed was plugging that cord directly into the iPhone 14 pro max which made absolutely no sense to me considering it won’t fit into my iPhone 14 pro max and I’m certainly not going to force it it’s shaped differently, and it’s bigger than the normal charging cord. The see-through case I thought was a great idea however, their so-called lens protector doesn’t have any clear plastic over the flip open door. I thought you’d be able to flip that open and take a picture as well as serve as a kickstand but instead, it’s completely hollow exposing the lenses. The case I have now there’s a sliding door that completely closes and truly protects camera lens. And without being able to use either one of those I have no magnet on the phone so I wasted my money on the free standing charger as a result it’s all going back to Amazon, but I really wish I could reach out to the company and ask why I’m getting such conflicting directions that cord by no way plugs into the iPhone 14 Pro Max. I figured I could just get a plug later. I have no plug to accommodate that type of a cord.
    Any info you could share would be greatly appreciated.

    I noticed that in Cinematic mode you can adjust the F stop, but wondered if doing so with a photo was possible. My thinking of say...taking a photo of a person shooting a shot while playing pool, where you had the ball highlighted for sharpness, and the individual shooting, more blurred? As mentioned, will the camera on my 14 Pro Max do this automatically if I highlight the ball for instance?

    Just got the 14P yesterday, and I’m really disappointed/confused by the camera. I upgraded from an 11 - where I shot raw with ProCamera app. The 14P has trouble focusing through the various lenses, and the depth of field is…weird? I don’t understand what’s going on with the camera. The macro mode helps resolve blur on 1x setting, but it makes 2x look bad.

    • @AppleInsider
      @AppleInsider  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      If I were you, I'd shoot in 4K for sure because even if you only use video at 1080P HD, you can crop in on the 4K without losing any quality. You can also try shooting at 60 frames per second and then you can slow footage down when you're done. A lot of times filming you'll think you go slow but then when you see it, it feels kind of rushed. But if you shot at 24 or 30 frames per second and slow it down it can look jittery. 60 frames per second lets you cut the speed in half and still be buttery smooth! Also, utilize that ultra-wide lens for entrance shots of large rooms to make them feel more expansive and your video more cinematic!

    Does anyone know how to fix the zoom issue on the cameras? I can’t focus when I try to zoom in on an object in video mode.
