You make a vary good video! And I watch with much interest.. and if I may interject some experience to your channel.. most all rich sands along the Oregon beach’s hold about the same values so digging deeper doses not always show better results. (Working harder does not mean more gold) and it also runs true for every ten buckets or thirty half buckets of rich sands equals one gram of gold and depending on how you run those sand. At the end of the day it’s all about the buckets ran that makes the difference… your a tinkerer I’m sure you will figure out how to run those buckets with sluicing. Thanks

Thanks for watching and commenting. I actually like the hard work (therapy ) Thanks for the info, I've been wondering if the sands I'm working is actually good or not. It sure seems like we all are cleaning up the tailings from the 1850's gold rush? I'm so happy you enjoyed the video, I'll be bringing you another one in a day or 2 or 3 or ? 😆

Thanks for watching and commenting. I would love to look in some new spots, but as 2-Toes says, don't leave Gold -2- find Gold. Went to merchant Beach and see a spot I think I will try, I sure like "digging" 😆 Cheers.

    Hi mental.
Watching your videos from prineville oregon.
Have you ever tried building your own auger bit, for a cordless drill, to punch test holes? Say 2" wide 3' long
If the cordless drill causes a issue with the new laws, how about a hand drill auger?
Sure cobble will be an issue, but you can quickly establish the depth .
Do you think it a usefull idea?
    Or waist of efforts?

Thanks for watching and commenting. Well unfortunately ( NO ) powered tools can be used, thats why I made the hand-powered auger. The cobbles are unpassable with the auger, but your right it will establish the depth. Another Oregonian! Right on . Thanks again for watching and hope you subscribed so you don't miss upcoming videos , Dale. 😊

Watching with interest. I know my sluice is loosing as much color as its grabs in its mats.

Thanks for watching and commenting. I have to experiment with things and have found, no matter the 'matts' I've tried I still loose gold. This flour gold-its the bigger ones getting away. Thanks again for watching and I'm happy to hear you enjoyed it. More on the way. 😃

Were you listening to to the crappy thumping music while working the dirt? If not why do we have to hear it?

Sorry you didn't enjoy the video, I'm new to this and trying to find my way through these editing process and what a learning curve. Hope you watch some of my other videos, there are some not so annoying 🙄. Thanks for watching and commenting on the music, I'll definitely pay more attention to volume and music choices. Cheers 🍻

27:40 Don't you have any soap in the water, so that you break the water surface.
    Have a nice day.
