A tip that helped me with laddering on my socks: Andrea Mowry said to tug on the second stitch on the needle and I have no more laddering on any of my knitted items.

re skirt lengths we say ankle length or mid calf length. for the width of a skirt- you could say , my skirt is too wide but you would say the width of the skirt is...not the wide of the skirt! Your fluency is A* as are your podcasts.

Hello Sarah, I hope you enjoyed your coffee with friends. I do the same thing but not as often. It is precious time spent with good friends. What a sweet conversation you had with your little friend! When there is moisture (water) in the air, it is humid. You would say "the humidity is coming in today".

I love the idea of the dropped stitch cable to hide an obvious ladder in your sock! I usually knit the fish lips kiss heel on my sock but i think i might run into the same problem as with the shadow wrap heel so if i try it, i will include your idea to keep the first stitch normal.

When you feel the moisture in the air, we say in English “it’s humid”. So nice to have local friends to have coffee with. Such a busy day for you. I can’t imagine living with no air conditioning. Here in the states it’s been unbearably hot and I don’t think I could survive with only a fan. Stay cool, my friend ❤

In NYC we get also high humidity with high temperature. We said it feels very "muggy"

Oh Sarah, every woman is right there with you about female cycles. I am long past my menopause journey but i remember it to well. No fun was had by me. I also had terrible periods all the time so I had 3 good weeks out of every month and one week of no energy. When I got through with periods and hot flashes it took the sting out of getting older because I no longer lost a week out of every month. Hang in there! So happy you decided to share with us.

Humidity, I live in sub tropical climate in Qld, Australia. The Humidity is horrendous here in Summer. The only way you can bear to knit is in the air conditioning 😂 I knit my Remi in the Rowan Summerlite cotton. It has a beautiful finish. ❤

😉Je telde je WIP's 2 keer en kwam beide keren tot 12. Eerst je Engelse filmpje opgenomen? Want in je Engelse filmpje kwam je tot 13 WIP's (je telde je cactus potje en de bol garen als 2 projecten 😂). Enneh, in de titel van dit filmpje staat woensdag 26 juni maar bij het Engelse staat het correct, donderdag 27 juni. Geeft niks, we geven gewoon lekker de hormonen de schuld! Weer fijn genoten van je filmpje, heel benieuwd hoeveel WIP's je afrondt dit weekend. Fijn weekend gewenst!

Yes Sarah, you answered my question about your central air conditioning! And today you mentioned “humidity”…that’s the dreaded water in the air 😓🥵, which is what I’m most thankful for my air conditioner for! Also, thank you for sharing everyday regardless of how you feel. We all have off days, that’s real life….and you’re doing an amazing and inspiring job of keeping up❣
