Thanks for your great review of this car. Great looking in black with the SS package. I drive an 02 as well and love it, the looks, the fun and affordability factor. You summed up everything quite nicely. I think they are a good mix between the old musclecars and the newer technology and performance, with a decent price as well, good bang for the buck.
Congrats on the new car! I had a 1994 Z-28 Camaro back in the day, and currently own several fourth gen LS1 Firebirds. Those are not Firebird wheels, but I believe they came on the late C4 Corvette.
It was a dream car for many back when I was in high school and a "monster" back in the day. These cars, the WS6's, and the Cobra were kings of the street all awhile, still chasing the power of the 60s and early 70s glory days. Then came along Dodge and changed the horsepower wars and muscle culture with their SRT programs turning 4th gens and anything from the glory days into "cruisers" by measure. In my opinion, I can't stand the demotion and still consider these factory performance pony/muscle cars!
Also, thanks for the good comprehensive video. As a dad with 2 kids under 3, I'm happy to see that car seats fit in the back. I'm considering a 4th gen and this helps a lot in my research. Thanks man!
I’ve owned my 99 ss for 4 years and it’s been great for 10k no other v8 manual car has this much potential if you need more power just put a cam and you’ll be at stock ls3 numbers for less price
Nice looking Camaro. I have a 2000 SS convertible in navy blue metallic. Mine is in the shop getting the top replaced. The top looks fine from the outside, but I was driving it one day and my neighbor told me my top had a bubble when driving. Turns out the inside straps had worn out and no longer was holding it as good as it should have.
Same in Michigan, but in my opinion that’s pretty affordable compared to any new or late-model muscle/sports cars! There’s a pretty short list of fun cars you can get with a V8 and a manual trans for under $20K.
Nice video bro ! Buying a 2000 z28 convertible in may

I had the exact same spec but it was a 2000. Had it for 12 years and I miss it

@@cybalakay I would argue the navy blue is the best color offered on the 4th gen’s.

"Street Legal Performance." SLP. Is that a factory package or some kind of aftermarket authorized version? Either way, it's bad ass!
@@KCPSRADIO Confirming it was a factory package, and worth every penny!
Do you have a link for that phone mount? Is it holding up well for you?
To my surprise, it works great! Here’s the link: a.co/d/hXltTap
Affordable ? These cars bring 15 to 25k around me
