I normally do the opposite, I put a key chuck to replace the cheap keyless chuck on a cheap drill. Key chuck are normally more reliable.

Thanks for your video, i got a question if you can help me please, I have a old drill model and I want to change the chuck because it is old and I want to replace with this new model of chuck, but I note that my drill has no bolt or screw on the middle of the chuck, how is that possible, is there drills with no screw in the middle of the chuck? which is best keyless or keyed?
Give me keyed every time, but don't forget, they must be tightened with the key in all 3 holes.

Looks like the retaining screw is reverse threaded!
I think some are and some aren't, how do you know?
Whit Elfner I believe they all are, my pneumatic and battery drill retaining screws are both reverse threaded.

Typical video by non-professional: lots of flashes and very limited amount of real subject matter information:
1. the removal of the first screw is missing.
2 how do you select the replacement chuck? Are there any precaution for that selection?
3. Can you go up in size if you are already replacing the chuck?
Video is good. But can't trust Chinese products especially when it comes to safety.
You take too long and waste people's time.Learnto present quickly and get to the point faster.
