    Really cute, practical project. You could also do them in Christmas fabrics and give as stocking stuffers, etc.

      These can be used for fall and Thanksgiving. So fall covers one season plus a Holiday. And same for Winter and New Years. Thank you a lot.

    I knew you could do it, you wouldn't have put it out there if you couldn't.
    I'm not a seamstress by any means. My husband bought me my new machine a couple years ago for my birthday. I have to admit I could not figure out how the embroidery options worked until about 3 months ago. I had some muslin and decided I would make some dish cloths for myself. I started making them and decided to use the computerized stitching for decoration. Wow, I sewed the rest of the night and was looking for more material before I finally stopped.
    I had a blast !!

    I like the fabric you picked out. I have seen some made in a rectangle off matts. Made over sized of the dinner plate and right to left for the silverware and napkins.
    Even though you put yourself under pressure I think putting some leafs on the mat with different colors.
