I love the Idea of the fabric zip loc baggie dispenser. I will have my friend Marge make it. I got all the fabric for it she will sew it for me. I am left handed and dyslexic so I will most likely booger it up. Thank you for being so smart with all of your great ideas and sharing those ideas with us sewers and quilters.

I love the hanger. I know you love command hooks. You can also make a buttonhole for the top and stick a command hook for the pouch to hang! I usually make a separate buttonhole in each layer so the hook closes them together when hung, but when you take it down they come apart to reload.

I can't love this enough! Thank you so much for the tutorial! I order bulk zip bags and save my old smaller boxes to simply refill in my drawers. I don't see this as saving much space, but I do see it as being a lot more user friendly. Now to make two (one for storage bags and one for freezer bags) and teach the man child how to determine which bags are where! Thanks sew much Tracy!

P.S. I saw you with Donna in the live. Oh my goodness, your sewing timeline....that really cracked me up! I'm 61 and have been sewing since I was 8 or 9. I did make a lot of my clothes, my children's baby clothes and many of their Halloween costumes and much much more. I dabble, dream and accomplish a sliver of what I dream and a complete a sliver of what I dabble in...but have a ton of fun trying and doing. Tracy, I am re watching your videos, as I always do. While watching this one again, I just got the coolest idea!!! We are going to a family reunion, everyone will be in there RV’s or taking a camper. People always need more efficient ways of storage, this is great for my camper! I can free up an entire drawer, just by hanging it on the inside of sink cabinet door using a command hook. I am going to make several to give away to the families at the camp site!! This is absolutely a great thing for RV’s! Just think how much a person living in their RV would love this space saver.
Just an thought, Can you rename a video & add a shot of one made out of camping material as an 👁 catcher?

@The Sewing Channel I made it yesterday. I love it, the baggies fit. The only thing I might change is the side seams, that's not my favorite thing to do, lol. I might put binding on instead.

@@TheSewingChannel You're right Tracy and I thought of it after I posted this. I also think one in the sewing room might be handy as I use Xlarge, large and small zip lock bags there. Xlarge for storing projects in for sewing guild days and sewing retreats and UFOs that need to be kept together in the cupboard, large for patterns and small for buttons, thread and other small items to store within the Xlarge for a particular project so buttons etc don't all fly out when I'm taking fabric, patterns etc out of the bag.

@@TheSewingChannel I live in Australia and get some from our supermarkets but the ones I like best are from IKEA so I suppose you have a chance of getting them if you live near one as IKEA is pretty much universal.

Love this. Made one, working on directions for the second one. I know you do not want to do this video all over again, but it sure would help clarify which piece of fabric is which if each piece was a differet color. All this "peach" fabric confuses me, which is easy to do. Love your channel

when attaching the front pouch ... about how far down from the edge do you place the top of the pouch? I'm not sure if that was already asked... to be honest I didn't search the comments. Guessed it at about 3-3.5"

I don't think I could make money making these; because, almost everybody wants something for nothing around here. Your fabric Zip Loc Baggie Despensers would make great gifts for teachers (yes, teachers). Elementery teachers use a lot of Zip Loc Baggies to help children keep up with small items in their desks; and, they also use Zip Loc baggies to teach with (they are much safer and better than glass jars). Every teacher I know needs more storage space. I keep my boxes of zip loc bags inside a drawer in my kitchen. However, this is a great idea for those who want to make and try to sell them.

Hi Alexis...I don't think you will have issues with directional fabric on this project✅ Be sure to keep in mind which way the print is going and be sure to place it in that manner✅

Have you thought about patenting this idea/design? If this idea took off, you could set little Josie up with a college fund. Then again, with the way things are going, the rapture may happen long before she gets to college. 🙏🏻

Ok girlfriend, you have totally amazed me! This will be so useful, I really dislike all my boxes smashed up in my drawer and then sometimes making the drawer hard to pull out. That is when someone just pushed everything back in the drawers,like husbands. Opps.... well just saying! 🤣
