    What a good idea! I usually have to have 2 towels in the kitchen, one for dishes and one for drying hands. Most days they get mixed up, so this should take care of that problem. I’ll have to make several of these for the holidays. Thanks!

    Cute design, Tracy! Every time I see an apron, I remember the matching ones my grandmother made for me and my mom - black and white gingham. I was about 8 at the time and thought it was so cool to have my own! Wished my mother would have kept it and put it away in my baby box. Would have loved to still have it as a keepsake of my grandmother. Love your design and having a towel on the front is brilliant! You're quite the magician! 😉

      *_Thank you Dori....I love the memory you shared about matching aprons❤️I never met one of my grandmas but I have an apron she made way before I was born and I love it...I take it out and admire it from time to time❤️_*

      @@TheSewingChannel I met one of my grandmas only once, the other twice. They lived in the KS and ND; we lived in CA. Felt like I missed out knowing my grandparents. I'm sure you did, too. Spend as much time loving your grandbaby as possible!!!! 👶🏻

      I was fortunate to grow up and know one of my grandmas. She was one of my favorite people♥️she’s passed now😕 but I have so many sweet memories of her. I’m with my grand baby right now- she’s napping and I spend every chance I can with her for sure. ✅ life is soooo short.

    Love your videos! Today I watched this one and thought, how beautiful your hands look! Everywhere you meet women with unnatural long nails and I cannot understand, how they are able to use them. So I wanted to say, how wonderful it is, to see a nice hand with short nails beautiful coloured!!! 🤗🫳🫴

    This Magic towel Apron reminds me a little of the magic pillow-case. We sure could have used this idea, and pattern, four years ago, when three of us were making aprons for a youth program during Summer Vacation. If we ever need to make aprons for this program again, THANK YOU for this wonderful idea and pattern.
    These Magic Tringle Aprons will make very nice gifts. There is suppose to be a shortage of gift items in the stores for buying and gift giving this year. It would be a good idea to start making gifts right now.

    I love this apron.So cute for gifts too. Just discovered your channel, love all your really unique but easy sewing crafts! I have been sewing/serging for 2 years now, and have subscribed to your channel. I wonder how easy it would be to add a chest panel to this for a woman....Thanks so much for your video!!

      Just an update! Secure that ribbon well, and really roll it tight. I lost the ribbon, had to open one end of the contrasting fabric stitching and start pulling! It was really tough sewing over the several layers section, fabric was really taught. Maybe my towel was on the thicker side. I also added a breast panel too! Just some pointers here on what NOT to do lol !!!

    • @TheSewingChannel
      @TheSewingChannel  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Anna- it did help a “bit”. I’m thinking if I pin it more to the side that would help more✅

  • @pamthetraveler7224
    @pamthetraveler7224 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    I love the idea. I made a regular apron for a friend, using her favorite color in a 100% cotton fabric (I'm a quilter and have plenty) but now when she takes it out of the dryer she has to iron it. Do you guys use a cotton/poly blend? Or do you just iron it each time you wash it? I was a little disappointed that I made a gift that forces the friend to iron. Any alternative ideas?

    • @TheSewingChannel
      @TheSewingChannel  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      *_I totally "get" what you mean Pam...I have only ever used 100% cotton on my aprons...and it is a bummer because of the wrinkles and ironing. Maybe someone else will see this post and comment if they have tried another type of fabric for aprons...🤷🏻‍♀️_*
