Amazing👏, sewing will be easy with your video. Thank you so much for sharing these details with us , I'm a new follower from 🇸🇦, see you in the next videos 🌻🌹
Just came across this video. Just had to let you know the potholders are adorable. i actually collect potholders that I use for decorating my kitchen around the holidays. 🎃🎃🎃🎃🎃
Yours is the best tutorial for this project. I love making these but you have a better method of assembly and I can’t wait to sew more this way instead. Thank you much.
In 2010, I purchased the Grandma Dot's Fruit Pie Potholder pattern and made several of these as gifts. I think it may be time to pull that pattern out again and make some more! Thank you for tutorial. These are fun to make and give.
Thanks, Susan! 🤗 I'm glad you love the pattern. Looking forward to seeing your version when you get to it. I appreciate you taking the time to comment. Happy quilting! 🌸
I made one of these today and it turned out absolutely adorable! I was so nervous about the bias tape around the circle, but it was actually fairly simple! Very nice project for an intermediate! I will be making so many more during the holiday season!
OH my Oh MY. I made these and they came out absolutely ADORABLE. 😍😍 So adorable not sure I want to use them. Super easy to make. Thank you for the tutorial .
With fall arriving, this is a perfect opportunity to make these beautiful pies/potholders. Stacey your work and your imagination is amazing. What is the width of the jumbo ric rack trim? Thanks so much for sharing this video...😃
What is the width of the bias tape you used? The largest size I can find so far is 5/8" at either Amazon or Hobby Lobby. I'm also searching for a tan color so it looks more like an actual crust. Thank you for any and all advise - and also for all your time and effort you put into your lovely tutorials Stacey!

I will be making some. Did you use the regular throat plate or the other one for thicker fabric? I'm still figuring out what I need for my Juki. I love your advice and videos.
Hi Marcy, I just use a regular throat plate. I do have the thicker one but haven’t needed to use it. I will message tomorrow with my recommended list. But the left compensating foot is on the top of the list.
My needle won’t go through the last part when it comes time to stitch the tab hanger. I also tried to hand stitch it but I can’t get the needle through. Any suggestions?
Fair point. I would just wash straight after use if there was a stain on it. Most stains will come out of washed earlier rather than later. Have a nice day 🤗
@@staceyleecreative I agree, but few actually do that, most of us just toss in the laundry…. This will shrink, and scrunch up after drying in dryer…I think it really is very cute & a lovely decoration but not to actually use, because most food/drink stains don’t come out, even when washing within hours🍷 Very thoughtful gift!

Thank you so much, Linda! 😊 I'm thrilled you enjoyed the potholder project. Jumbo rick rack trim is typically 5/8 inch wide.
I wonder if I could make them a little larger for placemats? They look so cute
Yes. That's a great idea. I might try that myself for the holidays.
Yes absolutely you could Kathy! 😄

I buy mine at Walmart.
Hi it's extra wide double fold shrsl.com/47vff
The problem I had was finding matching bias tape and jumbo rick rack which is why I went with white.
What juki do you have. I love this video. My kitchen is blue, I want to make blue pies. Thank you!

It’s a left compensating foot 🤗

Hi, I would skip the tab hanger, you don't really need it ❤
I'm hoping for an internet signal here in the Ozark Mtns of Arkansas. 😊🤞🏻
Oh I hope so. What a neat park of the world to be in 🤗
