  • On day 3 of Raceweek, we drove the CrayZ and her little trailer from Kearney Nebraska to Morrison Colorado! we trekked over the Rocky Mountains up to 10,000 feet in elevation, then did some racing at Bandimere Speedway on day 4.
At Bandimere, we learned about high altitude tuning, throttle cable stretch, and much more! And on the final pass, we got a new fast time of 13.39! In the next video, we will be driving to Pueblo, Colorado for more racing.

Man that clutch is really grabbing. Its not easy to do but just dropping the clutch on the launch is hurting you quite a bit it looks like. If you bring your RPM's up much higher than 4500 you are going to start wheel spinning. You are right on the edge of that from what it looks like. Either way nice work and its fun to see you go though the learning process. Funny that the cable was out of adjustment this whole time.

Good catch! That's exactly was what happening. We needed just a little bit of wheel spin to smooth out the launch...

Great video! I'm ready to go back again! A turbo does sound like a great way to fix all of those problems!

rev to 5,500, side step the clutch on the 3rd yellows and just keep the wheel straight. If you're not running legit drag radials or slicks don't bother with the burn outs. Keep at it and you'll get it!
Looks like you're having a blast which is the important part.

So cool to see the progression as the week went along and also kicking myself for not getting a chance to catch up with you guys on the last day (Grey Silverado in Stick shift) I live at altitude so I always get a chuckle seeing others put two and two together, when we go down in elevation it's like easy mode :)
I don't know if you've had a chance to try yet, but slipping the clutch will fix your launch and drop a bunch of time on the front half of the track. If you watch the video for the Bangshift Billy it helps to visualize what to do with your feet to get the optimum launch from your car. One other thing-if you're able to run out the traps in 3rd gear, you'd benefit greatly from either more power (NA or boost) or going to a deeper gear/shorter rear tire.

Great info guys. This year’s Drag Week will be our first one with our Terminator X Max installed and while we are confident in its initial setup, we still have much to learn on the tuning side. This was VERY helpful! Thx!

They are such handy systems!! But there is definitely still a bit of a learning curve to get the most of of them.

Autumn, it's fun to watch your technique getting better and better down the track! You're getting in the groove. Now it's more about tweaks on the car. Your last past sounded much healthier!! Keep at it you two, you're doing great!!! 👍🙏💪
