Not gonna lie, the moonlight butterfly was my favourite boss from DS1. It wasn't a particularly challenging or interesting fight, but the creature itself and that beautiful theme made me think that there was more than just hideous beasts and fountains of blood that made the game terrifying. Even the most beautiful and graceful of monsters could prove deadly.
It reminds me of Berserk, which is the obvious inspiration for these games. Even throughout a story of betrayal, bloodshed, and creatures beyond human comprehension there still manages to be fantastical creatures, like elves etc.
I'm ashamed to say I never sat through the credits of Dark Souls 3 and listen to 'Epilogue'. After doing so, it's definitely one if my favourites from the soundtrack
Y'all, I use this to fall asleep more quickly on the regular (it really helps!) and I don't understand all the "Hail the Nightmare"-bashing. When you're trying to snooze away with this playing, the track is actually less disturbing than "The Old Monk". And "Great Grey Wolf Sif" is dramatic enough to wake you back up again sometimes when it plays...
"Calm" Soulsborne Music Mix -> then at 46:39 Yahar'gul music starts :D I think that song is one of the most disturbing theme in the whole soulsborne universe. I was grinding the bogeymen and pigs for days and the evil music stuck in my head.
Pretty amazing mix, would probably be the best mix on TH-cam were it not for two fatal flaws... No firelink from either DS1 or DS3 and no Shrine of Amana from DS2. If it had these it would truly be uncontested.

You can't do something like this without Majula, even if they said "don't put the best relaxing song in a souls series in it."
