You can hate on DS2, but the first experience when you see a flick of light in the cave and then first gaze upon the massive sunlight bathing beautiful village called Majula, is a feeling so majestic, I love that place the most from all of the soul series..!
@@sadsworth4605 yeah, DS2 definitely needed some extra work (mostly the lighting and controls [SotS on keyboard feels like PTD]), but the same is true of DSR and DS3 with their jank and glitches. No point hating on one of them for minor problems, better to enjoy the good in them. (Still good to tell From Soft what we think is broken or unenjoyable though, that way they can get a better idea of how to improve for stuff like Elden Ring)
The the bottom book on the table says "How to Pick Up Fair Maidens" a reference to some of the books in the bloodborne, though I can't tell what the top book reads, I assume "Estus Soup Recipe"
Easter eggs I could find was: Solaire doing the praise the sun emote in the background, the crystal lizard sleeping, Siegward is brewing estus stew with the ladle from ds2 you can also see he has a recipe book with an empty estus flask on top, the second book is titled "how to pick up fair maidens", there is a city in the background (hard to tell which but my guess is Anor Londo), You can see a dragon flying in the background at some point. I might have missed some minute details but I think I got a lot of the easter eggs.
I just finished watching the entire animation and I never saw the dragon. Could you post a time stamp? Edit: I just found it. 25:46 I was expecting the dragon to be a black or red. Instead yellow. I can't recall a yellow dark souls dragon.

never played dark souls till about a year or two ago. two friends and I took a trip to dark souls 2 scholar. 1 beaten it, 1 played dark souls 1 and me never played. We took about 6 ish months due to everyones schedule. Soon after we started dark souls 3, though more frustrating that ds2 I found I loved the characters so much more in ds3. Seigward is a cinnamon roll and cemented as my favorite character in the whole series. Were on dark souls remastered right now. Going through all of the dark souls in about 2 years I love all my memories of it. And this lofi beat really puts me at peace more than any other.
