Hey Jason great video I have a 505 as well and I bought the lynx stretch kit I haven't put it on I've had my helicopter for 7 months now and I've never been able to fly it when I first got it it was missing the servo holder's they had the big standard Servo size and I needed the medium that took a month to get after I got that I'm just not very good at programming this is my very first helicopter the build came out good but I need help on programming I have a ikon as well can you make a video or show how you program your hobbywing ESC and the ikon. There's no help where I live
depending on brand some still call 500 as using 425mm blades , the sab goblin and alzrc devil 505 is whats called a true 500 class , even looking at a goblin 420 , , you can say its a 500 class because it can support upto 430mm blades but its still not a 500 class . with today having so many brands and so many sizes it can get confusing , but i dont want any 1 to think you can get a g500 or devil 505 and it will support 550 stock , at most you can use 516 and possable 520 i was told , and yes you can use 550 if you get the stretch kit , and most true 550 class helis run off eaither 6s or 12s and can use eaither or .... the 500class can only fit 6s unless further modding is done
no , older 500 class used 425 , goblin 500 have never used 425 , when the goblin 500 was released it used 500mm blades and stock can support up to 516mm older align and blade helis and other brands that made a 500 used 425 , and even the new align 500x only uses 465 blades or 475 , the ALZRC 505 and sab goblin 500 is a true 500 class heli and will not allow the use of 550 blades stock as it will cause tail blade and main rotors to hit , and most likely a boom strike ,
Don't agree. Your heli's are larger and as such should be classified correctly as the main blade size. I have all Blade and Align heli's Also a Velos 880 that uses 880 mm main's. SAB's are great heli's. I like the Alzrc line. Looking for 700 to 800 class model's though. I have a Thunder Tiger E 325 it is a 450 class that use's 325 mm main;s. Nice tail extension,Thank's for all the info.
but it is classified by the size of the blades ? the sab goblin and devil 505 come with 500 and 505 size blades , if it comes with 500mm blades what class would you call it ? I'm getting confused now lol also what I think is that a heli should be classed by the size blades as stock , i.e. a 450 should be a 325 due to the size blades and so on , but only my opinion
sweet. appreciate the heads up on the Lynx 550 stretch kit !!
one thing I did have to do was change the tail belt gears both front and back to sab gears because for some reason the ALZRC gears ate the belt
Nice upgrade

True that.
nice, can i use goblin 570 belt when upgrade tail from lynx, thanks
no , the 570 belt is longer then the stretch kit belt but you can go to lynx website or helilids.com and have alan order you a belt
Am I the only person thinking this is almost the EXACT same as the goblin 500, I have a g500 myself and the parts and everything are so similar
It's a well known fact it's a clone, there is a few things that dont match up but 95% is a goblin clone .
very nice
852 euros with the electronics
im still learning the world of rc choppers.....are these basicly goblin clones?
yes with some changes , for the most part i have used some goblins parts on my 505 but this is 90% a copy of goblin
the parts of the 505 which is clone are cheapest than the original too dont forget to mention....they just copy SAB like the 380 and 420 too
and lower quality i forget to mention...
Thats odd the 505 is a 550 already, 500 class helis use 425 mm main blades.

oh and just to add to my responce the alzrc 505 and sab goblin are the same heli , the alzrc 505 is a clone of the goblin 500,
