    I bought the same camera few years ago but never used it because of not understanding how to use it
    I am retired now and took it out to use it but it became more complicated now than before and thought of selling it
    My son told me to have a look in youtube and found your video, I found it very interesting and useful and well presented.
    Thank you so much.

    Av- is aperture priority- you set the apeture, and the shutter will be set accordingly automatically. Tv- is the opposite. Shutter speed priority. you control the shutter speed and the aperture size changes automatically to create the proper exposure. I'm not trying to be a "know-it-all", at all!!! idk much!! just wanted to make it clear. Ty for the info :) beautiful lens as well! create on!! ~peace*

    You can put it in M mode keep you iso as low as possible set your aperture to what is needed to get the lighting right then lower shutter under 50 and play around with it. Make sure you are holding the camera as steady as you can when shooting with a low shutter. I hope that help

    I've been using my t2i in a studio on manual...setting the ISO to 100 or 200, aperture and shutter speed...during shoots I've found the setting seem to change without me doing anything. It became most noticeable when the shutter speed went to 1/320 and half the frame was black being out of sync with the strobe. I'm using the 'Q' button to change settings...My question is am I doing something wrong or is the camera broken?

  • @StevenLipson93
    @StevenLipson93 12 ปีที่แล้ว

    @MediaUnlocked
    The difference between a crop sensor and full sensor is an increased field of view.
    There is a magnification factor with crop sensors that full frame sensors don't have.
    The rebel T2i is a crop sensor with a 1.6x magnification factor.
    This magnification factor is the equivalent to zooming in 1.6x on a full frame sensor.
    Another difference between a full frame sensor and crop sensor is that a full frame sensor gives your photos shallower depth of field.

  • @MediaUnlocked
    @MediaUnlocked  12 ปีที่แล้ว

    You can put lens on the M mode witch is manual mode but you will have to focus the shot your self. You need just a little bit of light to take a picture if it is pitch dark you will have trouble taking pictures bring your iso up and apature the lowest it can go

    Lol, AV mode is Aperture Priority , you will have the control of your F/stop or Aperture and the camera will adjust the Shutter speed and the ISO for you to get a correct exposure. This is good if you want to focus on one particular subject of an image. eg, Portrait photography, etc etc.

    TV is Shutter Speed Priority, you will have the control of your Shutter speed and the camera will adjust the ISO and the Aperture, for you. This is good if you want to take a picture that take Shutter speed as priority , like sport games, water fall, etc etc.
    Hope this helps..
