- In this video i will show you how i did the lever service of my SRAM code RSC. I just noticed that the adjuster dial of the biting point was stuck, so i decided to do the full service without changing anyway the internal components. Happy maintenance, happy watching, leave a like and please subscribe to the channel for free to not lose future contents! Enjoy!

3:25 very bad idea to grease piston with sram butter or other oil greases, its can damage piston seals and lever gets stuck. Use only dot fluid or sram/avid dot gerase or DOT Assembly Greases only.
i looked for it everywhere, but i didn't find it at that time. Now seems that i found it! I will update some info in the video description, thanks!
perfect! Thanks a lot! I got the same problem and orderd the service kit - now can do it together with your video tutorial.
You are welcome, i hope it will help you👊🏻

@filipshocko9027 oh my god man...so sad for you! I hope you a speedy recovery! In general is better to do some proper testing of the brake after this kind of maintenance!
Yeah very nice thanks
You are welcome 😎👊🏻

Thanks for the sharing beautiful video, stay connected. New friend. Like 8
Thanks 🙏
DO NOT USE SRAM BUTTER, USE DOT GREASE or DOT FLUID INSTEAD!
I personally didn't substitute any part inside, but if needed there is a kit you can buy from SRAM --> amzn.to/30DWXqe
Great tips, thank you ! Do you have the part number for this piston assembly tool ?
You are welcome Eduardo 🤜🏻, should be in the video description
Thank you for the detailed video Oreste, I did the service and ended up with a stuck contact pad adjustment dial on both levers. Also, when i squeeze either lever it feels stuck for a moment, then moves smoothly toward the bar. I'll try the service again, is there anything particular I should watch out for? Cheers, Jim!
not that i know Jim, this procedure should solve every issue inside!
Did you re use the barb and olive on your brake hose?
Yes I did, nothing changed there
please advice - after repair adjuustment wheel is spinning but less that at leaver that is working properly. Did I mess something?
I didn't get exactly the issue: if the tire is not spinning properly could be that the pads are touching, or? The lever maintenance should not affect that
@@OresteCiotoli no, I mean adjustment wheel on a leaver
@@ermakov2009 ah ok! In this case i will try to redo the procedure, checking that everything is in place. The behaviour should be the same you had before the service
Can you take off only the lever blade if you want to change it or do I need to empty the brake of oil first
Not sure 100% but should be possible without bleeding 👌🏻
@@OresteCiotoli okay thank you!
Hi do you know what is wrong when dot fluid coming out from the reservoir vent hole during
The bleeding process?
Personally i think it could be normal, i think it happens when there is too much pressure inside the system. The important part is that the lever feels good after the bleeding
Please can some one help me do mine. I’m in Lancashire
Did you tried already?!
Really useful video, thanks. But why the horrible background music? Completely unnecessary and really annoying.
😃 I'm sorry but I always use a background music, it helps the "narrative" of the tutorial. But I'm glad that you found it useful 👊🏻
