+VaatiVidya Don't worry, they took it out of context. The fact that you take lore and a plot that is incomprehensible by most standards and make it merely nebulous and kind of out there is more than enough for me anyway.
Dark Souls in a nut shell: "It's like being married to a woman who is attractive and charming and funny and intelligent and you are soulmates and everything is perfect, right? She is the perfect woman. You could not ask for a more better woman in the world. You love her, and she loves you. Only, she has one flaw. Every 5 minutes, she punches you in the face... For no reason, she just punches you in the face every 5 minutes. Even at night, you wake up, she punches you in the face. God it really frustrates me when people say confidently that dark souls 3 is super easy. It's because you've played and mastered the first 2 games.. I have a friend who played dark souls 3 first in the series, beat it, and then played dark souls1. He told me dark souls 1 was piss easy.
actually quite a few people WHo are new to the seires can tear through Dark souls 3 it's quite possibly objectivally the easiest of the seires (still hard compaired to other games though)
+DBfan and critic ya idk, it's honestly just super subjective. I beat almost every boss on my first try in dark souls 1 and 2, but dark souls 3's bosses took me forever to master. Only beat two bosses on my first time, iudex and dancer (no clue how)
MallopJynttFTW Eh difficulty is Subjective But i'd still say that dark souls 3 has 2 of the hardest bosses for me The soul of cinder and The nameless king Each taking me 3 and a half hours EACH to beat
+DBfan and critic nameless king yes, holy hell it took me like 3 hours to kill that guy (half of that trying to figure out how to dodge that fire attack in phase 1) but soul of cinder afterwards? Dude it was waaaayyyy to easy. I felt sorry for it lol, I absolutely destroyed it

i agree with most of it but imo schierke is more yuria than beatrice. there's also latria, a tower with a religious zealot which is alot like the tower of conviction.
TadGhostal bloodborne has awful mechanics and wouldn't be nearly as praised if it weren't exclusive. You know what's awesome parry timing that makes no sense and having to farm weak enemies if you fail a boss a time or two. Also at least 2 loading screens to get anywhere. Yeah bloodbornes greeeeaaatt
Adam Elechko as a person who has the platinum for the game and a couple trophies away from getting it for dark souls 3 as well also have beat sekiro, bloodborne was a phenomenal game and you must just not like to be challenged by a game and/or just really sucked at the game and did not have the patience to try and understand the game mechanics Edit: also the parry timings are actually really on point given a few exceptions such as the lantern holding people in cathedral ward, like honestly it takes no effort to parry those guys
i've finally started playing ds3 (at farrons keep) and i've got to say this experience is insane, this game genuinely makes you think about your decisions and strategies and that feeling when you get better is euphoric. I know i have a hell of a lot more to go but now that i've seen the map loop around theres no turning back!
Gotta love how bosses have no issues roll catching you but when you try it on another player its "boing boing boing boing rolls for days" and as if the universe couldn't hate you anymore "choo choo" crystal soul spear to side of your head from a mile away. But despite all that I still love this game series.
Holy shit, this video just taught me that using a torch will clear those fucking maggots that cause bleed. Thank you so much, those things were driving me crazy.
One thing about this series that I loved was that I never struggled with them, and my first run in DS3 only took about 2-3 hours, but I enjoyed the hell out of it. I mean I went back in NG+, did everything by NG+5, and still play the hell out of it. I have 223 hours on DS3 last I checked, and DS1 has maybe 400. The longest I've spent not doing a speed run is 3 hours. Shortest it's taken me is about an hour in DS2. Now I just like to kill the bosses again, and have some good old fashion jolly-cooperation
+Alexander Thorson such a thing never existed and it never will because there are only 2 kotor games and no form of Warcraft clone came after it. EVER!!!.
say "What is life? Is it nothing more than the endless search for a cutie mark? And what is a cutie mark but a constant reminder that we're all only one bugbear attack away from oblivion? And what of the poor gator, flank forever blank, destined to an existential swim down the river of life to an unknowable destiny?"
Rabryak running past everything never works for me, I have to fight everything off one by one, if I try to run last everything 11 enemys train behind me and then I trip over something and get mauled
relax, i did the same thing, but that was just so that i could get to a boss without taking damage or wasting flasks. in fact when my friend first got me into the series, he said that is a thing u should at least learn how to do and to keep in your back pocket.
wasnt that bad for me and it was my first souls game, took me about till the abyss watchers to fully git gud and learn how to play. (FUCK IUDEX FIRST RUN)
I personally found it much easier than the first game. The maps weren't as much of a labyrinthine mess (they were actually quite linear) and while monsters attacked much more continuously, I felt as though parries and perfect dodges were more easy to pull off. Then again, the game was also fairer than DS1, with less stage hazards in boss fights and much MUCH less multitasking (with a few minor exceptions).
It's a reference to how helpless Ash Ketchem was when he first started his journey, all the years he spent learning about Pokemon didn't help him the slightest, and he got his ass handed to him by everyone and everything, also can be a reference on how The Unkindled one is trying to catch all the lords of cinder, gotta catch em all :P
You just can't say something bad about DS3 apart being too hard sometimes, but that what we really love about DS games. The graphics, combat system, armor, weapons and overall feel of the game is amazing.I have never experienced bugs but the game probably has some, because it can't be perfect.
You can say something bad about it. It's like they took everything from all Souls games, splashed it together, and threw a shitty Bloodborne combat system without poise.
If you want the game to be alive, you want to have good PvP. Pve gets boring after sometime. And besides ds3 has the shittiest PvP of them all. Have you actually dived into it?
Siegward of Catarina was the most charming character. He was always in a pickle, but would offer you beer for helping him out. He also helped you beat a boss if you progress his story.
@@CelatraI didn't care much at all for Bloodborne but the work put into DS1 is what makes DS3 so good. THey went back from DS2 and made a living breathing world. DS1 was extremely good for it's time, I feel for the 3rd they took that and built upon it.
Am I the only one who loved DS 2? Especially the SotFS edition with the DLC. It was fantastic. Loved defending the 2nd bell covenant area. Super hectic PvP.
It's been out for 2 weeks now... Not officially, but everyone hacked the japanese version. They have press copies anyway. And aside from the fact that a guy that played the other ones only needs about 20h... That's what ? 2, maybe 3 days ? I'm really not suprised. I'm more surprised about the "Rated S for spoilers" trailer on official day one... That kind of dumb move from them.
+MrQuelquDeux If we are talking statistics, 99,9% of people dont get the hacked version. Only the "hardcore fans". Many souls fans dont even own a powerful enough computer. Thats why we have the console version. But i respect your opinion
***** Come on, dude, you're grasping at straws now, let's start over nicely, shall we? I'm Makoto, and I once subbed to Smosh Games because of Honest Game Trailers, after a few weeks of subbing, I didn't like their other videos, personally, I found them dull and uninteresting or just plain corny, so, since Honest Game Trailers weren't gonna start their own channel, I unsubbed and have to check weekly to watch the newest Honest Trailer videos. Not saying being subbed or not makes you smart or stupid, only that it's not for everyone, and seeing as I'm not the first nor last to mention it, I'm happy to see it wasn't just me. There now, can we both respect each other's preferences now?
I'd still Say dark souls 3 dwarfs most other games in difficulty Also the nameless king gave me the most trouble (and most deaths) of any boss In dark souls well unless you count bloodborne In which case that would be laurince WHO I'VE SPENT 8 HOURS TYRING TO BEAT AND STILL HAVEN'T BEATEN HIM

Dark Souls 2 has two undeniable advantages,

Sorry, but i'll be a Forest Hunter forever.
Honestly. It's a really great game. it just suffers from not being Dark souls 1 DLC content.
DSII imo has the only disadvantage of the poor lighting the game has, it sometimes looks cartoonish, but it's by far one of the most well crafted games out there, even in the Souls series has an unique charm, the balancing it has its amazing, the NG+ is truly the best in the series, poise actually does something, has an amazing PVP, pretty easy at the beginning but challenging AF in the DLCs, reinvented the bonfire travel, power stance and true dual wielding, the lore is pretty damn good and the best hub area in souls (at least for me).

Darksun Gwyndolin is similar to Griffith (feminine lord with connections to a black sun)

Andre is like Godo (friendly hairy black smith)
Both have a young blacksmith named Rickert
The Catarina armor is identical to Bazuso's Armor

say "What is life? Is it nothing more than the endless search for a cutie
mark? And what is a cutie mark but a constant reminder that we're all
only one bugbear attack away from oblivion? And what of the poor gator,
flank forever blank, destined to an existential swim down the river of
life to an unknowable destiny?"
Uhmmm... I definitely didn't run passed everything in the game apart from bosses....
Then you played it wrong. lol
Sounds like a *filthy casual*
Rabryak running past everything never works for me, I have to fight everything off one by one, if I try to run last everything 11 enemys train behind me and then I trip over something and get mauled
Chase Mclaughlin same with me
relax, i did the same thing, but that was just so that i could get to a boss without taking damage or wasting flasks. in fact when my friend first got me into the series, he said that is a thing u should at least learn how to do and to keep in your back pocket.
"And a covenant system that will have you changing believes faster than a freshman religion mayor" 😂😂😂😂 this was the best
This game isn't as hard for someone who's a series veteran because they've gotten better at playing these games!!
wasnt that bad for me and it was my first souls game, took me about till the abyss watchers to fully git gud and learn how to play. (FUCK IUDEX FIRST RUN)
I personally found it much easier than the first game. The maps weren't as much of a labyrinthine mess (they were actually quite linear) and while monsters attacked much more continuously, I felt as though parries and perfect dodges were more easy to pull off.
Then again, the game was also fairer than DS1, with less stage hazards in boss fights and much MUCH less multitasking (with a few minor exceptions).
i still find it hard even though i've been 1 and 2 so many times i can't remember
"Well that cleared up absolutely nothing"
*I DIED*
2:32 Gatorade... c'mon it's canon Sunny-D
Ash Ketchem, gold.
IKR
Can you explain it? I didn't get it
It's a reference to how helpless Ash Ketchem was when he first started his journey, all the years he spent learning about Pokemon didn't help him the slightest, and he got his ass handed to him by everyone and everything, also can be a reference on how The Unkindled one is trying to catch all the lords of cinder, gotta catch em all :P
+Korpy Boo Ah, now I get. Probably the second thing, since it makes more sense (I think, never played any of the Souls games)
I'm... pretty sure it has more to do with the protagonist being a so-called Champion of Ash. Anyway, Patches got described helluva lot more accurate.
Silly man. Swamps, mires, bogs and poisoned tar pits are the best parts of From's games.
I'm so happy I gouge my fucking eyes out with a rusty ladle.
Nothing from the second game is coming back - - -> DS3 is full of DS2 references and easter eggs.
blindness134 Really? I only catched up a ton of DSI ones
Jacopo Franzotti Gilligan's (I butchered his name for sure) dead body, Knights of Drang, the Ogre Hands are the ones coming to my mind at the moment.
what's the Ogre hand referance ?
Crystarium_Odin they are the Ogres from DS2 but manipulated (or corrupted/mutated).
There are a lot of items that reference ds2 events, characters, and items as well like the shield of want for example.
You just can't say something bad about DS3 apart being too hard sometimes, but that what we really love about DS games. The graphics, combat system, armor, weapons and overall feel of the game is amazing.I have never experienced bugs but the game probably has some, because it can't be perfect.
AzSam Pako insert "THANK YOU" GIF, pls
You can say something bad about it. It's like they took everything from all Souls games, splashed it together, and threw a shitty Bloodborne combat system without poise.
Dominic Ferro PvP is hell.literal hell
PvP isn't the main part of the game and you can be just fine without it.And its not that bad.
If you want the game to be alive, you want to have good PvP. Pve gets boring after sometime. And besides ds3 has the shittiest PvP of them all. Have you actually dived into it?
Does anyone else come to his channel just for honest trailers?
Pretty much everyone
Just look at the views, clearly most of the views are from these
OMG VAATI VIDYA!!!
HELLL YEAHHH
Surprised they didn't atleast tag him in the description
who?
+defpixel he saw it :p His comment is at the top.
+Sean Dennis Big TH-camr in Dark Souls community
Well, the summoning system of having 3 people with you makes the game about 90% easier regardless of the hp boosts the enemies get/phantom.
LMFAO the purple summon signs you'll never touch. Yup
Do a honest trailer for that old windows pinball!!!!
say: Momma had a chicken, Momma had a cow, dad was proud, he didn't care how.
Please do Dead Space next!
+BrutalPerryReloaded I have been asking them to do dead space since this series came out.
BrutalPerryReloaded Yes please! One of my all time favorites
Siegward of Catarina was the most charming character. He was always in a pickle, but would offer you beer for helping him out. He also helped you beat a boss if you progress his story.
This is one of the best games I've ever played! The world they created is beautiful and immersive. The mechanics and gameplay top notch.
I thought so too until i played ds1 and bloodborne. Ds3 is just washed out and uninspired
@@CelatraI didn't care much at all for Bloodborne but the work put into DS1 is what makes DS3 so good. THey went back from DS2 and made a living breathing world. DS1 was extremely good for it's time, I feel for the 3rd they took that and built upon it.
@@Celatra everything you say is false.
@@fatufatu correct, bloodborne is dull. i've changed my opinion
@@Celatra i’m happy that i led you to the right path.
AYYYY Vaati Vidya reference
Am I the only one who loved DS 2? Especially the SotFS edition with the DLC. It was fantastic. Loved defending the 2nd bell covenant area. Super hectic PvP.
my favorite in the series actualy
Watch Hbomberguy's video on Dark Souls 2.
you can't just complaint about the camera without showing the king of storms. Breaking the camera is his whole thing
prince joffrey 3:32 LOL XD

THE SONG AT 0:22 IS Far From Alone by Kurt Oldman

PLEASE DO THE DEAD SPACE FRANCHISE!!!
"Every new boss sends you into a controller shattering rage spiral."
hahahaha
LYNXINATOR haha true tho. DS games really do make us hate hate our controllers.
Working my way through this thing right now and I am very much enjoying it.
You decide to do a spoiler honest trailer the same day that this hardcore game that you have to play for over 9000 hours to finish is released... WuT?
9000 hours ....... yup
+naughtyNuGetzz23 Dragon Ball Z...(Pop culture refrences. Welcome to the internet)
But i respect your opinion
holy shit an over 9000 thousand joke, I bet a 12 year old wrote this coment
Praise the Moon xD!
Iderus Naimmee And the sun.
for the moon to b seen, it needs the sun. therefor we will now praise the sun
PrinceVinc A paleblood moon mayhaps?
i could get behind that
Praise the Dark
magical Gatorade got me XD
*Chuckles.* Fun vid, excellent Vaati Vidya cameo. :)
"git gud edition" i lol'd way too much
"Furiously chugging Magical Gatorade." Yep, I cracked up at that.
Plot twist: The final boss is the character you made if you chose link the flame ending from Dark Soul 1!
mind fucked
+Dark Poisoneer
and everyone else's
why?
Magicpaul93 what do u mean by why?
+Dark Poisoneer how can you say that? what are the clues? i really didn't get that
I am one of the few people who never gets mad at video games, so I love the souls series! It’s very easy to persist without raging
The *Berserk* is stronger than ever with this one...
+Just Some Guy with a Mustache You've gotta have GUTS if you want to become a DRAGONSLAYER
Prince lothric and lorian shierke and guts.
Damn, I see you everywhere! lol
If you haven't already, watch the dark souls 3 berserk trailer. It plays the opening to the ps2 berserk game over a dark souls 3 trailer. It's...
You NEED to do KOTOR!!!?? Greatest Star Wars game of all-time, and one of the best RPGs of all-time!!!!
Another week, another visit to Smosh Games.
The only reason to visit this dead channel
*****
lol, so fucking what? I'm not in entertainment, and if fanboys are as ignorant as you, then thank God I don't have any.
*****
Oh, so I guess it was one of those jokes that aren't funny, got it, only a friendly advice: don't quit your day job, unless you're a comedian :)
*****
Come on, dude, you're grasping at straws now, let's start over nicely, shall we? I'm Makoto, and I once subbed to Smosh Games because of Honest Game Trailers, after a few weeks of subbing, I didn't like their other videos, personally, I found them dull and uninteresting or just plain corny, so, since Honest Game Trailers weren't gonna start their own channel, I unsubbed and have to check weekly to watch the newest Honest Trailer videos.
Not saying being subbed or not makes you smart or stupid, only that it's not for everyone, and seeing as I'm not the first nor last to mention it, I'm happy to see it wasn't just me.
There now, can we both respect each other's preferences now?
well this got out of hand
Liked and subscribed for the WH40k Space Marine quote at the end.
In his name!
A very popular video game series comes out with "name of series" 3.
*cries in a corner*
GABEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Software: "Hey kids! Do you love suffering? Then have we got a game for you!"
0:31 And it's not that hard, considering there's a bonfire every two inches...
Oh rly?
Listen here ya filthy c4sual
dakr souls 3 is the easiest from the souls series
+Captain Panos Ds2 was the easiest
I'd still Say dark souls 3 dwarfs most other games in difficulty
Also the nameless king gave me the most trouble (and most deaths) of any boss In dark souls
well unless you count bloodborne In which case that would be laurince WHO I'VE SPENT 8 HOURS TYRING TO BEAT AND STILL HAVEN'T BEATEN HIM
Probably the best video I have seen so far on the internet good job buddy
