Always a great video Simon!! Those white tubes on that hillside just goes to show that no matter what country you try to grow trees in, those damn deer eat them up😆😆
Morning Simon, we’ve mowed off our 2nd cut silage and 3 hay fields so no better time to catch up with a few foxes.over the last few nights.Another wonderful video and stunning countryside and cinematography skills, not forgetting your shooting skills. Good old Jack leading the way out front. 👍
Great video Simon and excellent shooting. Very peaceful area and the birds in the background added to it. You could have done the whole video with you and Jack heading out and no one would have been bored, you know that Jack is still going out with you whenever you go and will forever be with you 🐾🖤💖. Cheers brother 🐾🐾
Night or day, dusk or dawn, it’s always great to see your part of the world and what you (and the late great Jack) get upto. It really is a treat you taking us all along. That’s sincerely ment.
Excellent video. You talk about running around on the Moors when you were younger, still doing the same thing today. Isn't it amazing how a lot of time can just jog right passed you & never see it going. Great content brother.
Grew up on a hill farm in Rivington, love watching takes me back roaming the hill n valley with my trusty air rifle more watching wildlife than hunting didnt realise how lucky I was, now living in Tasmania cheers John
The scenery is beautiful, it's hard finding a nicer place then the rolling hills. I really need to head back to the UK next time I have a few days off. Cheers Simon
Thanks for the video, showing just how persevering you have to be to get your Fox. I use ordinary Insect Repellent to stop Midge-bites whenever I am out in the Countryside, but I do recall one episode when Jack (sat beside you) was eating them all from out of the air.
Great video as always and of course we never tire of seeing Jack. Interestingly, the longest day this year was not the 21st as we usually expect but was the 20th June. Apparently this happens when it's a leap year.
Thanks for the video Simon, you did well to catch up with that fox. Great clip of Jack enjoying a run. Midges, lol I was practising semaphore last night.
Good ol Jack , always good to revisit. You call them midges , we call em skeeters. I've found that smearing a bit of Vicks on my ears and on the back of my neck helps deter them. Don't know if that menthol smell will affect a hunt, we're always moving . Anyway , might be worth a try. Cheers
Great stuff mate, I remember those short dark nights, finish combines for the night get me lurchers out and before id got around the farm it was getting light again, hope you get another dog when the times right for always seems something missing in the videos now, thanks again Simon Simon
Fantastic video Simon, if I'm being honest mate I'm totally envious of what you saw and heard that evening, and those 2 red's just stood there eyeballing you, bloody awesome, I'd give my back teeth to have that on my doorstep, and finally a nice little remembrance of more active times with Jack, great stuff Simon i could watch hours of that with my eyes closed and picture myself in those beautiful surroundings 💪
17 seconds in. oooooh i'll have been to those towers on the hill in the deep background.... no idea which direction you are though. nice one. thanks for the vid.
Hi mate, can't believe it's taken me so long to watch this vid.....mind you someone once told me that life is something that gets in the way when your trying to get on with something else lol....not far wrong I reckon. Another great vid with phenomenal marksmanship as always and the countryside scenery you have up there is just picture postcard. Right ...now going to watch your latest FX King vid 😎 All the best!
Hi Simon, I appreciate you sharing your adventures and as a professional photographer, I respect the additional effort that goes into being a solo act while making the views seem as though you have a helper doing the camera placing. Dave in USA
Missin' Jack mate... cant wait for your next vid... and you don't bore us... I somehow find your shoots "soothing", like it's meant to be.. 1 fox or 5 magies, or 10 rats.. it is the way you make your videos that makes the experience...wholesome. keep it up mate, I'll be here. 😎❤️🤟
Beautiful ground to walk about and hunt on. Good job on getting that fox; that could have went either way. You were in the right place at the right time. A 6PPC and 58 gr. V-Maxs are a great combination. Good to see Jack again…couldn’t have been a better way to end this video. Humans could take a lot of lessons on behavior from dogs. Well done.
A great video a perfect shot were past the first 6months to go and ever thing gets squeezed in to the last half and to see jack has passed on in dog heaven running his fields and thinking i was never this fast i know how you feel we had to get tina to sleep old girl got cancer
Hi Simon, great video, as always. Been trying to catch up on my shooting vids, as last too weeks I've been lifting and relaying my patio slabs. Got finished laying last night, now just to point up. At 66, I've been feeling it in every joint and limb. Anyway, nice to see your moments with Jack. As I say, they never leave our thoughts.
I am in Corfu, Greece on holiday. Great shot and video. Good to see Jack again. 36*c here. Think I would rather have the midges !!. Looking forward to more vids. Cheers.
When you leave the foxes for the farmer to see, where do you put them? There is an old tradition here in the US that isn't practiced much anymore of hanging dead coyotes from fence posts.
There are not many who have even heard a Snipe let alone know what it is, so nice one mate. Gave me a trip down memory lane (once again) of when I keepered down in Kent, we had a marsh that was a haven for Snipe and a remote valley that was favored by Woodcock and Nightjar, spent many an hour just listening to the roding and churring, quite magical moments really! :)
Hi ther my friend norther brilliant film amazing ngt spoter i was looking at some simon way out my price range but they are amazing things to huse in dark bro wow you got us a problum fox amazing bro how you just read it fantastic ending to see our jack go🪦🙏🥎rip my friend fech the ball in the meddow for you master god be with you simon we all see you soon please br safe and we all see you soon happy pest control to you bro hsve your self a hot drink👍👍👏👏

Thank you Rosey it still does me as well.
Thank you again Simon memories of Jack will live on with me for ever thank you for showing him again.
Excellent, very professional. If that was a BBC documentary you would have a crew of 8!
Thank you my friend.
If it was a bbc production it would be angled against shooting and trying to imply the countryside is racist
Don't worry about boring us. It is always heartwarming to see Jack! As always, a great video!
Well ye know what you mean William..
Those little clips of Jack at the end there are golden.
The sounds of the snipe ‘drumming’ was magical. Being part of your world is a privilege, thank you.
Ye its a nice place to be Julian.
