I remember having a TYCO Curve Hugger Superbird slot car with the same paint scheme!!! The Plymouth Superbird is my Dream Car, like to see that one get restored to original!!! Mopar Nate Philadelphia, Pennsylvania
It was great to see this car in person again! Like you, I'd never seen it out in the open with light. Also, thanks for the headers. I'll put them to use one way or another. Great seeing you in person Ryan!
Fully restorable? I dunno.... After all that heat, I wouldn't put too much faith in anything metal on that car. I've heard of people trying to restore burnt cars before and it doesn't go well.
@@kenkamins9364 hey hero, I'm a USMC veteran. Not everything red, white and blue has to associated with the American flag. That car is NOT an American flag, it does not have 50 stars and 13 stripes, the paint job is hideous, and you need to move along.
I remember a local guy that ran his orange superbird hard into a pole in 1988. Split the front end and crinkled the car. He cut the wing off and buried the car in the ground with other wrecks in his dad’s junk yard . He Sold the wing a while back.
Do you think you'll burn some rubber with the car once he gets it running? Extra crispy bird yeah you have a side order of hot wings with that bird. He can laugh or you can cry but it sure is sad to see a car like that knowing what it used to look like
@@AutoArchaeology I'm really upset me that this happened to the car. I like how you present it as extra crispy. I kind of joked a little bit. That's really sad for what this car was. I'm glad that he got running. Now I don't do anything but TH-cam. I'm just not into all that social Media stuff and I know that my channel will take off better but that's all right I suppose. You know they tell me I've got a nose for bird-dogging old cars but man I know you've been doing this for a while. But the cars you come up with are just fantastic. I'm not talking about condition just the variety. So I thank you and I appreciate you bringing these cars to your channel. I hope that you continue to do this and enjoy this for a very very long time.
Thank you for following the shenanigans. Indeed I got the video of the car running to late to add it in the video. It's the best I can do. Can't wait to see the stuff you find. Good hunting!
@@AutoArchaeology thank you. Last few months I moved away from finding things out in the woods to other stuff. The other stuff includes the interior of a battleship and a mock battle. And I think I'm going to satellite and a couple of other cars of his as well. Well there I go talking too much.
I hope when it gets restored it gets the red white and blue paint again.
Definitely worth saving. Looking forward to the updates.
WOW....I hope they do fully restore the car....thanks👍🔧
Saw you filming on Saturday, it's a cool car with a sad story, hope to see it revived with that awesome paint job again

I remember when my father took me to that museum. I’m glad I got to see that car and the barracuda.
G'day Ryan,
Really appreciate your hard work definitely keeps us Aussie Mopar Nuts in the loop regarding this Bird.

Ok, you’ve got me hook, line and sinker! A stunt man that played with fire maybe?
Lame situation. I'm going though a 1k car collection that was in a forest fire and 85% of them are burnt but I'm still pulling good stuff out.
Just seeing that gives me chest pain.
I remember that fire. Shame about the others.
I don’t remember a time when Jefferson car show was going on when it wasn’t muddy or raining
Great vid!!!! 🤜🤛
BBQed Bird, unique serial #166169. B5 blue with white interior is pretty. The car need's a Whole Roof & backend all bent and heat warped
They had a black on black 1970 barracuda with a hemi with a four speed and melted in the fire
I like!
Yeee Yeee!

The roof is the worst, the rest is pretty sound.
A burnt bird yummy
How do you go from the beautiful B5 blue paint to that hideous red, white and blue???
It was the 70s
If you have a problem with Red White and Blue, there's other countries that you could move too.

The Superbird ALWAYS won the
