Remembering I V Sasi Malayalam Cinema used to be in the shadows of Tamil and Telugu movies in South India when he started in the Movie industry. It was like a step child among the Indian Movie Family. He was the Prince that made that ignored child into Cinderella. With strong stories, well built characters and pioneering presentations, he not only created super stardom, but created a new paradigm, where all human emotions are treated equally and respectfully. He taught Indian Cinema how to present "Kaama Rasa" decently. Who can forget the "pot that rolled down the step and sinks in steps" or the "Thunder shower and the last drop of rain". With out his powerful direction "Magalassery Neelakandan" would would have been a fizzle even with Mohan Lal His imagination gave the Malayalam movie the much needed realism and natural acting ability. He inspired at least two new generations of actors and Directors.
