How can you force takedown lights to flash as well... some light bars automatically flash the takedowns, and other lights bars don't flash the takedown lights at all. So if I want the takedowns to flash, where in els do I change that?

First you have to set Post FX in settings under graphics to Very High or Ultra. Then you can use plugins like Better Radiance, and Better ELS Reflections (lights beautifully reflect off objects). Those really make the coronas nice and bright. There is a draw back, taxi lighting and internal lighting (like RADAR, MTD and laptop screens in the cars can look too bright because this globally changing the lighting in the game. You can edit the ini files in both to tone them down if needed
ELS should always stay on. For example if you hit ALT+J activates all lights. When you get out of vehicle they should remain on. The only time I can think of that this does not happen is for Non-ELS vehicles and even then, you can still set it to do that with a keypress.

Alex Fortier you mean add certain lights to flash in back on stage 1? That's in the ELS config file the model came with. I haven't messed with specific stuff like that. Sorry man.
In your main ELS.ini located in your main GTAV directory, there is a line for your LED lights "LightFlashDelayMainLts" and right below is the one for the coronas (headlights, tail lights, anything that isn't a specifically modelled LED.) I bumped the main lights to 36 personally. The lower the delay the faster they flash.
When you have a vehicle with ELS and the .xml file is correctly installed, you go to stage 3 (press J 3 times) and select your "G" key, when you have a vehicle without ELS you are going to press "E" on your keyboard to turn on your lights and sirens, you can then select "G" to disable your siren and only have your lights.
Above the patterns section he edited, there is a place where you can change each color filter for the lights. Read it carefully and change any you want to blue. Then go into the game and test.

@@HeyRnold Just under the Preset pattern title. Then you can change which patterns ELS scans through by adding the numbers of the patterns
You can just type “scan” for pattern code number in your file and it will pull from your scan pool instead of changing your car every time you log on.

What about rotaries? I downloaded a pack with rotaries and when I turn the lights on they just grow and shink according to the pattern

How can i keep the light up after leave the vehicle??? When i leave, they turn all lights off

CTRL P brings up the UI on the bottom right, you grab those numbers and put that number in the correct place in the config file.

My guess would be somewhere in the init file, but I haven't touched that side in over a year now.
