Lol. Let's be honest. Of all the classes, necro is the one I can just lecture through. People want druids, rangers, and beastlords and I'd be scratching my head. Mage used to be in that category. But I took a few years off EQ and worked on my setup.
If you add some more black border to the left of the screen, you can recreate the original EQ interface! There would be no stopping you with such power!
I totally agree and there are some mana reduction augs. I know I used to use them. I need to go over my Necro main's augs and see what changes I want to make.
Everything except GINA and my log parsers is straight EQ UI. You can resize the hot bars and change their colors in the game. I have sone videos explaining it. Now the way I have my video set up is more complicated. That's done in the UI file and you have to be in Windowed mode. If I switch to another toon it all goes away.
I use /viewport which allows you to shift the view of the game within the game's window. /viewport x y width height scale The x and y values are an offset from the top left corner of the window where the game view starts to get drawn. The width and height values are the size of the game view. Scale is optional and can be 0 or 1 to indicate whether the viewport should scale with window sizing. I got this idea from a post in the EQ forums.
Good vid. Thanks for posting!
Ahh you actually took the time to give the poor guy from last vid a full set up vid, very kind of you:)

Lol. I may play around with that.
You can also get the clicky staff from plane of whatever that gives manareduction pr cast, i dont remember what it's called atm.
Good point. I didn't cover specialization. I should check but I think heroic necros start out correctly specced.
Yep but a clicky manareduction staff is never wrong, i see 120 necros use them so i know they are valid.

What are the mods you use for the GUI? Bars etc.
