As a Colombian I am always afraid to say we are favorites, but on form there is no question who has been the best team in this tournament and by quite a distance. But Uruguay is Uruguay and they are going to make this an absolute physical battle, especially when they feel like the beatdown underdogs. The kind of game the ref calls will do a lot to affect the outcome here I hate to say.

For future Copa Americas, the group leader should be based on ranking, with the exception of the host nation.
That would’ve meant that Uruguay would’ve been the group leader instead of Mexico and would’ve led to an Argentina v Uruguay and a Colombia v Brazil semis.
I’m happy for Canada making it to the semis, but I don’t think Brazil, Uruguay and Colombia are thrilled.
