She reminds me of the first female I saw at a comp many years ago. She was running the Sound Stream Taratula amps and later US Amps VLX400s. It had to be around 2001 or so. I been out of the game since 07 but met lots of awesome people. I am thinking of putting maybe 4 8" subs under rear seat of my Silverado.
This is a system right here and went smart first u make sure your car rins good then u make sure it looks good then u out a mean ass system in it ..she did it right..mad props..and jacob u be makin some funny ass faces...lolol😂but keep up the good work this is good material less cheap and shitty lookin stuff and more like this . This is a system amd a proper vehicle right here..big ups to this chic💯

In theory, would she get more output and overall better SQ if there was the same amount of distance between the port and the back door as the diameter of the port. So 10" in this case, looked like she probably only had 3 or 4 with those external ports. Im sure its a tradeoff between the tunning you want and the space you have. I was always taught if the port doesn't have the ports diameter distance of free space the port will be choked out leading to a less efficient enclosure (lower output), and a muffled as well as more shallow bass extension (sloppy bass that doesnt hit as low). Anyone agree or disagree? Why...?
From what I've encountered, the ports diameter shouldn't have anything to do with the distance. If you have a huge port on a box that has a lower excursion and lesser wattage sub , it don't need as much distance because it isn't pushing as much air out of the port. I think it's all trial and error. If it sounds muffled, move it back till it don't. I don't disagree with your theory though, it sounds like a reasonable rule to go by if you want to be on the safe side I guess.
