- 1992 Cadillac Brougham D'Elegance two Sundown Nightshade 12s Hertz HSK165 XS D3100s Iraggi hope to have ready for Slamology 2017 but I don't think it will be ready so posting an update video. All built out of my garage.

I really appreciate you showing your equipment and explaining the power it provides... good video! I never understood videos where guys just show paper flying around a sub port and not showing equipment. Car audio is so much more than panels vibrating and tissue in a sub port
Love that brougham. I had an 82 coupe Deville (same body style) and it was really difficult to eliminate the trunk rattle, but it's worth the time and effort. 92 was the last year Cadillac offered this body style, and it has always been my favorite.

I see a lot of good equipment there! Have you ever tried firing the subs forward, directly behind the seat? It seems like you might be losing some pressure to the trunk lid flexing. Very nice job on the install though! Keep it going!
you need a port through from the trunk to the cabin of the car...youd get way more sound in there
That is correct I had a 86 Fleetwood Brougham d Elegance. With port through pushing 2 12 JL w4 back in 1999 made a big difference.
Had 92 Fleetwood champagne/champagne 3 jl12w6 fosgate bd1000.1 I miss it weekly
Not to mention it releases a ton of pressure from the trunk compartment

Have you thought about getting rid of the mids on the rear deck and putting like 6" ports there so more of the bass comes through to the cab of the car? It's a quick, simple mod that will increase the sound by a lot... Just a thought

I mastered the brougham trunks started buying and trunking them in 97 had my 1st one same color as this now i know all the tweaks n hacks to make em beattttt and do so with minimal rattle and sound good at same time i also glassed my panels and woodgrained the bezels i have vids up on here im sure u seen em maybe ? Under my bass page extreme bass

@@johnboi614 Not the moving. That's the flex. Lol but, it will SIGNIFICANTLY reduce the rattle. Put it underneath the entire trunk lid (or as much as you can cover) and apply it with a roller. Put some on the back of the license plate holder, and it will do wonders. Doesn't change any bass on the inside of the car, just stops the majority of the rattle. In all reality, theres going to be rattle coming from somewhere on a vehicle of that age.

seal up the box. have the subs face the front but keep box against back of car. then replace rear deck with 3/4" of your choice and add a tuned port based on area of entire trunk minus box and other components. make the whole damn trunk a bandpass box.
