You can take the wires out of the connector and put them into the other connector without cutting the wires. Thats how i did it and it works perfectly find
Great “how to”! I might just do this to my 92….I’d love a NB Nardi wheel! Also, I like adding a bit of solder to the connectors, just adds some insurance that the connection stays solid?

Very true and most people seem to trow away the factory wheel for some reason. Plus the NB wheel just looks way better

I agree , I forgot to show that on the video , the connectors I used have solder inside also . I will add the link on the description .

Are you going to test the airbag before selling to ensure it will deploy properly?
Yes going to hit a tree at 65mph right before sale to see if it works 👍

@@brunocristan7047 Yes vehicle sold and airbag module was happy . New owner did talk about going to aftermarket steering wheel tho 🤣.
What size drill bit did you use? 3/8?
I show it in the video a 17/64 drill bit , you could also use a 9/32 next step up as I did trim a tiny bit still. Good luck 👍

Neither of my NA's came with airbags
Are you in the US because I thought all US Miatas came with steering wheel airbag. Than 1994 they added the pass side.
