- today i’m showing you all my reaction to the lavender haze music video! 💜
usually i miss a ton of the easter eggs the first time around haha but after watching it a ton more times, i am able to figure out a lot more :) this video is so visually aesthetic and it think it really brings to life the story behind this song and also is really representative of the midnights album concept as a whole⭐️

The amount of Easter eggs in all of the music videos combined pointing to Speak Now Taylor’s version are crazy. Like can she just release it already!?!? But at the same time I don’t want the Midnights era to end❤❤😂😂

I think one of the most obvious speak now tv easter egg that goes over everyone's head is her lighting a match before the lavender smoke fills the room. It can be because "But I took your matches before fire could catch me,
So don't look now, I'm shining like fireworks over your sad, empty town"
rip to when the midnights video trailer came out and i thought we were getting a full visual album
At the party scene they definitely were in their own little world, "she was taken by view like she was in Paris"🗼❤️ 😊
Lavender Haze is the 1st track, Anti-Hero is the 3rd Track, and Bejeweled is the 9th Track. 9+3+1 is 13! and all the music videos have a time stamp. Lavender Haze - 3:31, Anti-Hero - 5:10, Bejeweled - 5:54, the Minute Time stamps, 3+5+5 is 13!, and the Second(s) Time stamps, 3+1+1+(0)+5+4 is 13!, and Lavender Haze is the Third Music Video. and it's screaming Speak Now (Taylor's Version). so since it's the Third. I strongly believe Speak Now (Taylor's Version) is coming out 3/13.. Or There's a Mastermind Music Video, because Mastermind is also the 13th Track, which all the music videos have added up to.

i kinda think that mastermind MV will come out the same night as Speak Now TV and there will be some last easter eggs to segway into that era… i don’t know what date that might be and i won’t speculate because usually our date guesses as swifties are rlly inaccurate 😂 i also think this cuz there’s another record under mastermind on the floor and that might be the Speak Now TV cover? so it’s kinda like a hint that they’re one after the other.
your add up of the 3 music videos seconds is wrong. 3+1+1+(0)+5+4= 14 not 13 😌

The fact that she announced the mv the day John Mayer announced his tour could be either sassy or an other easter egg for Speak Now. Also there's a glitch à 2:43 which is a reference to the song Glitch of course but also it could represents the order of the re recordings : 2 = Fearless TV, 4 = Red TV and 3 = Speak Now TV, hinting once again that Speak Now might be the next re recording ;)
some other things to consider:
- it’s 13 years after 2010 (OG speak now release
- taylor swift is 33
- the MVs have been track 3, 9, and 1. add this up, you get 13. 13th studio album = Speak Now???
- a mastermind MV might come out the same night as Speak Now TV?? cuz it’s track 13 and therefore is the bridge between midnights and speak now? plus i’ve seen people speculate that the Speak Now TV vinyl is under the mastermind vinyl on the floor
okay so i TRULY think Lavender Haze was supposed to be the lead single AND this was supposed to come out before the album. The little easter eggs of song titles (mastermind vinyl, labyrinth vinyl, vinyl with a sprinkler, vinyl shelf with incense, etc) would have all been little "hints" like she did at the beginning of the Lover era.

I also had some theories about the video :)
- The party scene is a reference to being in a lavender haze where you are oblivious to everything but your love like they are in the scene
- Koi fish represent going against the current so to speak and this, to Taylor, is Joe. This fish analogy also links to Pisces being two fish
- The final scene she is wearing Anti-Hero clothes and destroying the room and enters a space with Joe, therefore forgetting her problems in the "Lavender Haze"
- Also, the space could be that their love is "written in the stars" - a nod to mastermind "all the stars aligned"
- I think at the end she is actually going back to sleep as it looks like at the beginning she is woken up at midnight by her music and creates this song after waking up at midnight, therefore the concept of midnights, also that this is the first mv she created so its like her first idea 'at midnight'
Can't wait for Speak Now (TV) - although I doubt it will be before the tour because I think she wants to give midnights its moment as it is only like 3 months old and she has put a lot of work into it. She might even be sneaky and give us Debut TV before SN? XD
The rain cloud I also remember from the “me” music video. She loves the cloud thing haha 😊

Was just thinking... with lavender haze being the 3rd single on midnights and being a very purple video, and speak now was her 3rd album..... could this in itself be an easter egg..... 🤔

The flowers are actually larkspur and delphiniums, not lavender!! Lavender would have been too small and would not have made as much of a visual impact. I haven’t seen anyone else note this detail💜

I think most people realized after it came out but July 7th is national koi fish day and there are koi fish all over all of the mvs.
I don't think this is the last video. 🤔Hear me out! She said " This was the first video I wrote out of the 3 that have been released", like she could have said out of the Midnights MVs or the videos that have beeen made or something, but she didn't.
I think there is a pattern to how she's releasing the Midnights MVs and there's gonna be more of them. Bear with me; she released Track 3 (Anti-Hero) first, then Track 9 (Bejeweled) and now Track 1 (Lavender Haze). The pattern is in the 3. 3 times 3 is 9 and 3 divided by 3 is 1, so if we take that approach it could be: 3 times 2 is 6 (Midnight Rain) and 6 divided by 3 is 2 (Maroon), so if we do this for the 12 songs on Midnights and then put in Mastermind, too we have the chronological release of the Midnights MVs! If we do it for the 3 AM edition and Hits Different, we have 21 songs; 3 times 7 is 21 (Hits Different) and 21 divided by 3 is 7 (Question...?). 😶🥴😵💫
And if I'm right with this theory, 3 is Speak Now, so it could be a stretched hint to SN (TV), like 3 is the pattern. 🤔
I could be totally wrong, but crazy theories are what swifties do 🤣😂
Though, instead of the release of the Midnights MVs, maybe it's all about Speak Now TV songs release in order.

Nena, I wish to know your thoughts about these facts: the 2 karmas on the wall in the man mv + in the A-H mv there are 11 cats in the painting with her, not 13, 11 (as in TS11) + the chuckles she did when she announced karma as a song's title. Some people are pointing to TS11 being called karma.

I just thought of this but maybe the 13 on Nashville, in the forecast scene, could be the place she will announce Speak Now TV ? She will be on the Eras tour in Nashville in May, and maybe she will be announce SNTV (which is her 13th album including the re-recorded albums) during one of the shows 🤔 and I saw somewhere a theory about the month of May and how it could be the month where Taylor will release something

Joe is a Pisces which is the fish zodiac sign, so fish in space makes sense. She was dancing around not pacing at the beginning.
I think the fish is also a reference for joes sign pisces :) maybe she is also shocked about that she had koi fish on her guitar and now it all alligns with joe. It’s like fate!
When you said that we don't have clues about the Debut album re-release it remembered me how anxious I am for a Debut album re-release, a concept I'm sure a lot of people are not very fond of regarding it was the first album. BUT, I think a whole Taylor's version of that album could be interesting considering the work she did with Fearless(Taylor's Version), and specially how it seemed she kinda looked back into the past in "Fifteen", and that could be amazing with Mary's Song and Picture to Burn.
The guy thas has a Sun patch on his jacket while Taylor has a dark cloud above her is the only non-obvious easter egg I got the first tine😆🥲

When Taylor and her lover are sitting in the crowded room,the person at back mouths something like 'this b***h again'.
I think that represents how still people think she changes boyfriend frequently but now she doesn't care,she's in lavender haze~
I know this video is kinda old now but I wanted to say that I think this song/mv ties in a lot with the escapism from folklevermore. The koi fish in space and fishbowl parallel to me seems to kinda represent how in their little love bubble she created her own universe. And kinda reminds me of that line “my mind turned your life into folklore.” So to me the song I guess is about how part of her wants to stay tucked away in the love bubble by the lakes, where she can forget about the fishbowl.

That is definitely NOT lavender on the floor. I know it seems like it should be but actual lavender plants do not look like that. It really looks more like wisteria.

Okay I know, probably I'm going too far by this but I just figured out something. I don't know if anyone mentioned this before, I haven't seen anything about it. Now, in the MV at 0.47 seconds, Taylor lights a match and the flame is purple. At that point, I remembered the lyrics "But I took your matches before fire could catch me". Please don't be mad at me I know that I'm probably wrong. But I just wanted to say it. It seemed like an easter egg for Speak Now TV.
