For most fur bearers they tend to love bait that you'd use for catfish. Use stinkbait, chicken liver, dip baits, etc.

Need to brush in the trap, cedar trees work great, tuck it up under one. Also, I would use it for coyotes or bobcats, use a duck wing and tie to the cedar tree so it can flap in the wind, use the carcass in the trap. Works well.

Vanilla wafers work well for raccoons. On live traps I wired empty tuna cans in the back of my cages so they had to physically go into the cage and get the food out
