So I noticed a lot of criticism from my comment section about how I ranked the characters (which I can understand why). But I clearly said in the video that this was all opinion based on my perspective. I heard some people even bring up characters using magic with the Magicite. I'm not counting magicite as a pro for everyone (Except for Terra and Celes cause they can use magic from the start) because they all need it to use magic otherwise they can't use it. I'm ranking them based on what they bring to the table like Sabin's Blitz Moves, Setzer's Slots, and Gogo's Mimic. So using Magicite doesn't count for this list. I know I should have said that in the video, but I didn't think it through. But overall my opinions remain the same.
I’d have switched Sabin with Edgar. Sabin can heal, cure status effects, multi attack with different elements non elemental damage and that’s without magic. Only major weakness input for blitz because not everyone is good at it or likes it. I however do like it. Feels more involved.
My best character through my first playthrough was Terra, her morph mode saved my party during boss battles. I guess I didn't have Edgar at a high enough level to really see his potential.
Here's the deal with the deal. Not gonna argue your list much. But in this game, magic is king. Nothing better than 4 dudes raining down ultimas per turn. And when the boss comes ultima weapon ignores strength and you just master scroll and offering for 8 smacks of max IIRC. So in that regards, Terra and Gau are uber strong. Terra can equip the best things, high magic and trance. With the celestriad, you can spam ultimas or with the soul of thamasa, 2 ultimas. And Gau can stray Cat for physical. And with most characters in this game would be esper trained to be at least 128 magic, still rain down ultimas. But edgar and sabin are also god like. Especially Sabin who you're supposed to surprise, surprise train magically because all of his best blitz are magic based. Or be a basic bitch like me and jut max magic up to 128 for your favorites, spam ultimas with celestriads and profit

To be completely honest, I think that this list should be updated/reworked. You don't really seem to know the game that well. First of all, Relm does NOT belong anywhere near the bottom of the list. Relm is at least within the top 3 characters in the game. Her Magic stat is the highest in the entire cast, even higher than Celes and Terra. If you teach Relm Ultima and give her an Economizer, you will literally blast thru the game like it's nothing. Second of all, please do more research before making a video lol. Strago's Blue Magic is super simple, you just let the enemy hit you with the spell you want to learn. (Only works on specific abilities, which just look them up if you're having that much trouble learning them). Also, why is Shadow ranked worse than Cyan? Shadow is literally just Cyan but much faster and has a much better ability. (Let alone you don't have to sit there twiddling your thumbs waiting for it to charge. I like Cyan but he's objectively bad). The top 5 are decent at least, can't argue with saying Edgar, Sabin, Terra, and Celes are good.

I'm the only person who appreciates Umaro. He makes the Tower of Kefka possible, and he's a decent add to fill out some bulk in a group.
